Quiet area. Easy to find. Close enough to town but also able to feel very secluded.

The water smells. The carpet is dirty. Hot tub quit working. Nobody answered the phone when you tried to report. Fixed it ourselfs. The driveway is awful to slanted with dips. The vehicles are all scratched up underneath.

We had a great time! The cabin was perfect and we were easily able to reach someone upon check-in. The only downside was the driveway being a little steep. I squealed the times of my Ford Explorer every time, so now the kids think I’m a crazy driver! Haha. Everything else was great!!

Needs updates , remove flooring to reduce odors. Pictures misleading , it needs more light it was very dark. The filter water needs repair , the dishwasher was broken and the sulfur in the water made a horrible smell .

The driveway was the only thing i didnt loke. Up a super steep hill and then a big bump turning in. It scraped the bottom of our car. By the end of the week we almost had it lol. Otherwise, really nice cabin.

The layout of the cabin was very nice and spacious for a family of 6. Everything was clean and kitchen was stocked with many utensils. Only critique is some of the appliances were very dated. The amenities of Shagbark are nice and we plan to come back again.

The property could definitely use updates. The fan above the table is in a bad spot. My husband and daughter both hit their heads on it. There were only 6-7 towels and we had a group of 7 staying 4 nights. There were no forks in the kitchen. Overall it was an ok place to stay. My mom was very stressed about parking her car on the hill, that was probably the biggest concern of the stay!

Close to everything but far enough away that you wouldn’t know Pigeon Forge was there! We found bear prints on the back porch but didn’t realize we had a visitor. The turn in from the road into the cabin takes some thought. I suggest all wheel or 4 wheel drive. Very clean and tidy.

Great location and beautiful cabin with hot tub. Only complaint is the driveway is very steep. We had an SUV with 4WD that helped but still was tough.

Loved the location of the cabin it was a perfect drive to town, but not in the middle of the busy areas. The driveway is a little rough pulling into; I wish that was known prior to booking. We did manage just fine but the grade of the drive makes it very hard for some vehicles to pull into without hitting the bottom.

We loved the house and the location. The bear was fun to see the first couple times but after numerous times every day and him drinking out of the hot tub we got a little nervous. We cut our stay by 3 days because we weren’t going to try his patience anymore with babies. Cooking on the grill was scary and getting in the hot tub. But otherwise it was great. There could be more things left in the kitchen from past renters. I’ve never stayed in a rental that was completely emptied.

The cabin was very cozy and home feeling. It was a great week to relax and enjoy a new place for vacation. We are highly recommending these cabins. It was very clean. We couldn’t have stayed in a hotel for a week but the cabin was a great price.

The property was as described. My questions were answered in a timely manner. We had an issue with one of the TV's remotes not working, called the number and someone came out to fix it the next day.

The cabin was wonderful no complaints there but the driveway to the cabin is not made for a car. We almost tore the bumper and tail pipe off entering and leaving the driveway. On our last day we had to call a tow truck to pulls us out because as you pull out the cabin there is a drop off and the tire will hit that and get stuck or run off the side. But other than the driveway the cabin was beautiful and was very comfortable. It’s semiprivate and the hot tub was great! I would rent again but not drive a car.
