We tried to get into the parking area ONce. Couldn't get turned around or up the super steep drive. Played Blackhawks trying to get out. We ended up parking down the road near orhe cabins. Which was not ideal walking back in the dark. Also the outdoor lighting (motion) didn't work. But the cabin itself was ideal!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Renter BEWARE! Driveway is nothing but a big hill! If you have a low profile car you will drag. All floors were sticky. If you want to go back to the 90’s this is your cabin!This cabin was not the one we picked, but apparently the water in the other cabin we rented was not working. When elk springs texted me the photos of this cabin I told them I would like a different one, and was told either to take it or leave it. No one tried to accommodate us, with help finding us another cabin, or one suitable to the one we picked out. Asked for a refund and was told it would seven days. Also this cabin was $400 cheaper than the one we had booked, and I had to request our partial refund. I’m sorry, but the customer service at elk springs is horrible. I will never do business with them again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This review is for the Moonshiner’s View cabin. The cabin is very nice, like all the Elk Springs Properties I have stayed at. It is in a great location, near the Arts and Crafts Community of Gatlinburg. It is decorated with pics of actual moonshiners, which is a nice touch. Now the bad - the parking is atrocious. I tried to park my Jeep Grand Cherokee by backing down the narrow driveway, and you have a rock wall on one side and a drop off on the other. There was very little margin for error. To make matters worse, there is a metal drain cover on the side with the drop off, and I was worried if I ran over it that I would get a flat tire. I requested another cabin and the folks at Elk Springs Lodge did a good job of finding me another cabin, and even gave me two options. But when I left, I tried to stay away from the metal drain cover and ended up scratching my alloy wheel on the rock wall, which I am going to have to pay to repair. Beware the parking at this location if you have an SUV or a truck.

We landed at Moonshiners Cabin and we were so pleased with our stay. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The staff was attentive and checked in with us to see if we needed anything. It was relaxing and perfect for a few more days of fun before returning to real life.

My wife and I are elderly, and I could not recommend this cabin for an elderly person due to the parking. We had to back down this steep incline to get to a flat area with gravel to park and then walk uphill to the cabin.

Very weak jets in the hot tub and hair all over the filter. The floors in the cabin turned my feet black. That parking spot was really treacherous, no stairs just a steep hill. The pool table was old and not red like shown in the picture. One of your can openers is broken. The sheets were uncomfortable. There is no light above the downstairs shower, very dark shower lol. The cabin itself was ok, internet was decent.

The cabin itself was in great shape and we didn't have a single issue the entire five days we were there. I'd mention that there isn't any street parking and the driveway is very steep, so parking several cars would be a challenge.
