Moonrise Cabin-King Bed+Bunk Nook-Hot Tub-Swings

Wonderful place! In words of our daughters… like a dream!

The cabin was lovely and had so much to offer. The kitchen was fully equipped with any equipment I would need. We enjoyed the small pass time amenities the cabin had to offer. In regard to the cleanliness, there was dust in some areas. The shower and hot tub could use a bit more heavy duty cleaning but overall wonderful stay.

Moonrise cabin is a BEAUTIFUL hideaway in the forrest. The aesthetic meets the pictures. Note… Make sure your map apps take you up to Sugarberry Trail, otherwise you will be on a maze of both gravel and partial blacktop roads.Now for the warnings… If you are of the older generation, the loose gravel entryway is cumbersome at best. Don’t even think about rolling a cooler or a suitcase from your vehicle to the porch, not happening.Also the host holds the keys to the a/c / heat and you HAVE TO contact them to change the temp!!!If you plan to use the grill, be cautious as it has NOT been properly maintained and we had 80 worth of ribeyes go from seared to charred due to a flare up grease fire.As a follow up to that… it has a very nice stove and is set up to cook. Prep is a different story and one should bring their OWN knives if you plan to prep and cook.We found the home to be cleanish… everything in the main living area was fresh and smelled great. There was a sticky residue that made your shoes creek as you walked. The bedroom was another story… either the bed wasn’t properly made OR the nice sheets didn’t fit the mattress and ended up wadded up and you slept on the mattress cover… NOT ideal. Also the headboard, black feature wall and nightstands had enough dust to create a film on your hand. The mattress is like a marshmallow and offers little to no support.Bathroom is spectacular, awesome soft towels… the small tile in the shower is extra slick… All they’ll let m

Loved this cabin! It was a great size for my husband and I, plus it has bunk beds in case we want to bring our kids next time. Whitney was great at communicating and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend staying here!

Every detail at the Moonrise cabin was taken to ensure that our stay was absolutely peaceful and relaxing. It was perfect! The cabin was wonderfully decorated with outstanding features. It’s situated so close to all the town offers but secluded enough to see beautiful views all around us. We didn’t want to leave and are planning our future visits soon!

The host was very accommodating. The cabin is super cute and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.

The hosts of the Moonrise Cabin were absolutely amazing!! They were very responsive and communicative, five starts for that. The cabin overall was absolutely amazing and the cleanliness was spectacular. The bed in the master was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, five starts as well. The amenities were everything we could’ve expected and more. Overall, our trip was amazing and the stay was excellent!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Moon Rise Cabin over the NYE weekend. The cabin was exactly as described. We were in a small neighborhood which was nice as to not feel super alone in the woods. We had a nice quiet stay with beauty all around us. We were also super close to all the restaurants and shopping! We want to come back and enjoy all the fun things here at Moon Rise Cabin soon!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. The location is tucked away and very peaceful. We sat on the porch rockers and drank our coffee and saw some deer! Loved having the hot tub on the patio with the fireplace and TV. We did a lot of grilling and utilized every amenity! The only negative was the bed mattress but I have back issues. We didn’t have any kids with us but the bunks were a cute option. We had every utensil/dish/pot we could need and more. Our favorite breakfast was at Beaver’s Bend Restaurant. Everything was as pictured/described. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was the perfect weekend get away to escape and unwind. This cabin was perfectly located, close to the amenities yet felt secluded and private. I’d would absolutely recommend and return again.

This is an amazing property that was perfect for a quiet get away that was still close to everything. The property is very well designed with fun porch sitting areas, fire pit and swings.

This entire neighborhood is so cute! We were close to all of the activities in hochatown, including the state park. Every thing was very clean and the patio was great. We didn’t get to try the hot tub but it looked fabulous! I did enjoy the swings out front and I’m trying to get my husband to install some at our house! The bed was too soft for me, but that’s always personal preference. They have Hulu available, so we binged shows every night after being out all day!

We had a great time at the Moonrise cabin! It was the perfect size for our family of 4 (two small kids, age 3 and 7). Location was great, cabin was clean and plenty of stuff for the kids to do outside. Communication with the host was always quick!

This cabin is centrally located, has everything you need, the most comfortable bed, and great outdoor areas! We will be back!

The house was perfect for our little family. Our two little girls (ages 4 and 8) had a great time with the swings, games and hot tub. It was close to things in town as well which made driving fast and easy.

Fully stocked for all our needs. We all had a great time. The whole process was seamless.

The space felt cozy and inviting. My boys loved the bunk beds and our bed was so comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor fireplace was such a nice feature after getting out of the hot tub. The bathroom exceeded our expectations. Kids had a blast on the swings and around the fire pit!

This place was perfect for our last minute trip. The cabin was super clean and we had plenty of room for our family (parents & 2 children). The TV in the bedroom and outside was a great feature for us. The kids really enjoyed the bunk beds and. Firewood was well stocked. Definitely recommend.

The place was beautiful and amazing! The bed and couch were very comfortable. We had a girls trip here and we loved the outdoor patio! The hot tub was plenty big enough for 4 people and there was a tv outside so we were able to watch tv while hot tubing! Whitney was very responsive with any questions we had! The house is also located close enough to drive 5-10 min for stores, restaurants, etc. Definitely recommend this place!

The house was clean and organized. Lots of towels so we didn’t have to do much laundry. The outside area was our favorite we went between the fire pit, hot tub and swings most of the weekend! My girls loved the outside games and searching for all the cool rocks. Directions were spot on and we loved our quiet escape for the weekend!

Such a great experience! The cabin was great and well stocked. Our kids loved the outdoor areas. It was nice how flat it was to the fire pit area coming off the front porch. Communication with Whitney was great! We’ll be back.

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Our two young girls loved the bunk beds, swings and hot tub. We spent both evenings watching movies on the patio - what a great set-up! All of the bedding and linens were clean and high quality. The bathroom is incredible. Communication from the host was great and their welcome book was the best I’ve seen yet! I would highly recommend Moonrise Cabin to a family of 4!

I can’t say enough about this beautiful and cozy cabin!! It was perfect for our family and 2 very active boys who are 6 and 3. Right when walking in it smelled so clean and refreshing. Everything was exactly as advertised! Fully stocked with everything you need down to plastic bowls, plates and Utensils that were kid sized. Much appreciated! We loved the home feeling it had and wj be back in the years to come :)
