Great property, this is our second time staying here. Its close enough to downtown without all the nuisances of traffic and crowds. Aewsome lake view. The heater works great for you folks who get cold easy. As long as the prices remain reasonable, we will most likely be back.
Very nice home in a great location. 3 gripes with management company. 1. Payment verification is over the top and a pain. E-commerce has been happening awhile now. NOBODY else is making you send drivers license and credit card via email…after they’ve already run the card! 2. Propane tank was empty and not checked by management during the last turnover. 3. Housekeeping makes the bed in a way that requires guest to strip and remake it to sleep in it. I don’t not recommend this house, but better attention to details would have made this a better stay.
We really enjoyed how the porperty had something for everyone. We have 3 daughters, ages 11-19 and there was a lot of activites in the house to keep them busy (pool, games, hot tub, wifi) and plenty of space!
I was there for a few weeks, worked remotely and felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. The house is great, beautiful view of the lake and nature. My recommendations to make it a fantastic experience is for the mgmt company to have additional cleaning supplies, towels that are fresh and not right out the package and to get the front door fixed as it takes you a few minutes to get in. Overall, was what I neede and I’ll be back.
Check in process was easy. Beds comfortable. Great view of lake.
quiet wonderful location nicely kept, original a-frame cabin would definitely stay again if we were in the area
Great location, great view of Big Bear Lake, great outdoor deck...other than that, for the money...there were several disappointments. The sheets were rough, like sandpaper...not comfortable. The towels were kiddie sized and also not soft...very thin and didn't really dry or cover a whole adult sized body. We had do do laundry in order to have enough towels for 4 adults throughout our stay. Then, we ran out of toilet paper and had filled trash bags...in order to get more toilet paper and remove the trash, we had to drive to the Cool Cabins office and pick up toilet paper rolls and dump trash into their dumpsters ourselves...seems inconvenient and semi-rude for the amount of money we paid for our stay in the cabin. Quite disappointing and the opposite of vacationing...didn't really want to do laundry, get toilet paper, ot dump trash on my vacation away from all of those chores. We would not recommend this cabin at all...unfortunately.
Lovely property, great kitchen supplies (best knives ever!)... comfy bed, comfy couch, great view. We had some trouble with the dead bolt and required some assistance at check in, but they were very responsive. There were no instructions for the wood burning stove and we didn't know how to open the flue, but again they were very responsive. It took us two days to figure out how to use the volume control on the Roku TV and remote as there were no instructions for that, but we finally did figure it out :-)
Beautiful spot on the Lake We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning?? and grilling on the deck every eve. Nice to be away from the town but only 15 minute drive. Recommend!
