This is hands down the absolute best and relaxing place we have stayed in the Hill Country. I cannot speak enough awesome words about this place! The place was absolutely amazing. The property is awesome with animals to feed and fresh eggs to get from the chicken coup. Fishing the private lake was blast. I have absolutely no complaints about this location. Our home was so well thought out and me being disabled, had no issues at all! My wife and I will be staying here again! The deer coming up to eat the corn we bought was so beautiful to watch. Do not think twice about booking this property as it is 5 star well worth it. The owners take pride in the property and were absolutely wonderful. We cannot wait to stay here again! The property is close enough to town but far enough out. Absolutely beautiful!!!

The cabin itself was great. The bed was comfortable which is very important for me; I see what folks mean about it being dark--that was also great, and it was really quiet. Loved the donkey Jack...reminded me of the donkey rescue where I volunteer in San Angelo. Now for the bad, which I'm sure you will not like, I have pets, dogs and cats, and have for 30+ years and I love them dearly, however, I would not have them around to bother the guests. I know the note on the fridge said contact us if our dogs are bothering you but I'm on vacation, and I shouldn't have to do that. Two nights in a row the dogs sat on the porch and looked into the cabin, it looked sad and, I'm sorry was intrusive. I finally just shut the curtains, and I certainly didn't feel like I could sit outside. Look, I understand this is your home, these are your pets, but I would decide, either let your dog's run around and enjoy their home or run a business but I'm afraid w/ your model you can't do both.

Great overall-views, deck/fire pit, hot tub, location, clean.Suggestions:*Hot tub cover is not attached to the lift/support bar, and the 101' water temp setting was not Hot (closer to warm).*King bed pillows & comforter need replacing.*TV is mounted WAY TOO HI above mantel.*Bathrm needs a bench/seat.

We enjoyed being out of the center of town. Listening and reconnecting with nature and seeing the stars at night was just so relaxing with the addition of the hot tub. While one of the outdoor couch cushions was a little beat up (looked like maybe swirls had scratched it up) it was still a perfect location for us moms to getaway and relax. Nice and clean! Great location! Great getaway! Will consider it again if we are in the area.

We cannot say enough about our 4 nights at Jeffrey Spring's Moon Creek Cottage! We have stayed in many places and this is probably our favorite thus far! So many beautiful touches from tile work to decor, farm fresh eggs upon our arrival, adorable farm animals and sweet sweet pups coming to say hello every morning, along with a cozy hot tub for star gazing & sipping incredible Texas wine! All of this made Moon Creek feel like a wonderful oasis from the craziness of life in WA! We will return, that is certain!

First off, I would like to say that the property is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the opportunity to pet and feed the animals, as well as have some farm fresh eggs in the morning! We definitely do recommend the property as far as aesthetics and enjoyment goes. However…please do purchase travel insurance if you book this property. My husband and I came here as a sort of “minimoon” after our wedding. Unfortunately, we came down with COVID the day after our wedding. We were supposed to begin our vacation two days after the wedding, but obviously we were too ill to go. That said, we called the property management company, Absolute Charm, as soon as possible to discuss potential options such as rescheduling or canceling with just a partial refund. However, they were unwilling to work with us in any capacity and told us we either had to come or let our trip go to waste. As my husband and I just paid for a wedding, we could not afford to let a $600 trip go to waste. Despite our fears about infecting guests who would be in the Vrbo after us, we decided to go and make the most of our trip after we were feeling a bit better and our symptoms had abated a bit. We ended up staying 2/4 days we had booked, and instead booked another property for two additional days. I hope that in the future, Absolute Charm will make the decision to prioritize customer safety over immediate profit instead of putting its customers in a tough spot. Extenuating circumstances do happen.

I loved everything about this place!! I feel like details matter and the owners of this place did a great job, from having plenty of space to hang wet swimsuits and towels to the mattress being the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a rental. If you don't like dogs, this probably isn't the place for you. They came to visit us every day, which I absolutely loved!! They are well mannered and won't jump on you unless invited, but if you have a fear or dislike, just know they will be around. For us, this was the perfect, private getaway!

Jeffrey Springs Moon Creek was absolutely perfect for my family. The interior was surprisingly roomy, with the king bed behind the couches with a great view of the tv, and the bunk bed was a cute touch that our daughter appreciated. The kitchen had just about everything we needed, plus the owners left a basket of farm fresh eggs for our use. The bathroom had a really unique rolling door, which you heard everything through haha. The vanity and towel racks were great although the vanity towel holder was broken and unable to be used. The modern accordion-style shower door was very confusing at first, but we got the hang of it. The highlight was the outer deck with a nice amount of seating, a propane fire pit, and a nice big jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was ready to go and nice and toasty. This property is designated as a dark sky area so you see an amazing amount of stars, and when you shut all the lights off, you can easily see the milky way. There's nothing quite like floating in the water in pitch black with zillions of stars above you. The property is on a farm, and we very much enjoyed walking around and exploring the area. We even enjoyed seeing farm dogs, goats, and ponies! This is by far my favorite absolute charm property, and I would absolutely come back and recommend it to all. It made for an absolutely perfect birthday experience. .

This is definitely a place we would stay again, but under different circumstances for our trip. Not being far from town, this place would be a perfect getaway if your only plans were to relax at the house and not get out much. Such a great spot and a great set up for relaxing, we just had other plans and didn't get to take full advantage of what was offered. We won't make that mistake again. A good note to remember, read the instructions on how to get the house. I made the mistake of only looking at the address and not the other notes. I plugged the address into my maps and followed that blindly. Not thinking that my maps would send me the the wrong address, probably because the reception is poor up in the hill country. The directions mention twice not to go down a certain road. Well, that's the road my maps sent me down and I didn't even pay attention to the road name. Everything was fine but it's a dirt road and I'm sure the traffic is not welcome. Use your maps to an extent and when close, look for the road name. There is a green road sign a head of the road to give you a heads up that it's coming up. After that, it's at the end of that road with the 3 trash cans out front. Once you locate it once, the rest of the time will be a breeze.
