Our Host David was great, the house and property was everything we needed.There isn’t a lot of room for parking but David had a plan for that and it worked out well for us.There was plenty of room for everyone and the wood fireplace was a bonus!We would definitely stay again!!

Great place to relax and have fun. Dave takes good care of everything and will help out in anyway he can.

Perfect cabin for our family vacation. Well stocked kitchen and home in general. Very clean. We really enjoyed our stay, the place was beautiful and the hosts extremely helpful!

We can’t say enough about this log home. There was plenty of room for our family of 10 to spread out. The kitchen was very well equipped and the island was great for many buffet type dinners! Everyone had a seat at the table for sit down dinners as well. What was very nice is that each level of this home had a full bathroom so our 3 families had their own. The deck was large and nicely shaded for our little ones to run around with a gate that was locked for safety. The beach was a big hit with the grandkids! Our host was the best with quick answers to any questions before we arrived and during our stay! We would love to come back to this beautiful home! Thank you again to our host who made us feel very welcomed!!

The property and house never disappoint. This is our third year. We are a 3 generation family group. The house and property gives us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy each other at the same time. We are also a family that loves to cook and eat together. The kitchen area is fantastic for our many hands to cook together.

Everything was on point and the house was fully furnished and beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful log cabin. The layout offered plenty of space for us to be together as a group of 8 while cooking and eating as well as playing cards. It also has great space for spreading out if you need a little alone time. Hayward is a fun town and is an easy short drive from the cabin. Dave was a great host and took care of any issues we had. Definitely recommend this gem!!!

We have been fortunate to travel to many locations and stay in some lovely properties, but only rarely have we had such a fabulous stay! This log home is exceptionally clean and well-cared for. The layout and design is perfect for large groups, though we loved our stay as a couple. The swimming--even in September--was wonderful. Dave is the consummate host. We will return for a longer stay!

The cabin was perfect for our family vacation. Great location, very clean and Dave was exceptional! We also highly recommend renting a pontoon to explore the lake and really enjoy the water.

The Nelson Lake house is a great getaway. The house is perfect for a multi generational family. There are 3 distinct areas for sleeping and just taking a break. Dave and Cathy are fantastic hosts, they have thought through what will make their house comfortable. You will have a great time!

This was our first time staying at this house. Absolutely everything was PERFECT! We visit Hayward every summer bringing with us our boat and atv. This house is conveniently located near the trails for atving. The pier at the house is able to handle a larger boat. There are bumpers to protect the side of your boat as well as ample tie downs for your lines. The house is a beautiful log home. Everything you need is supplied. The house was extremely clean. The grounds are perfectly manicured. There is a sandy area for swimming which works well for the little ones. Then there are the hosts that go above and beyond to make sure your trip is running smoothly. What a pleasure it was getting to know them. We look forward to staying again as this was truly a Northwoods getaway.
