The cabin is just far enough off of the busy street to be secluded and very quiet. Close enough to restaurants and shops if you want. Very excellent cabin in all respects.

The cabin was beautifully decorated, clean, and very well-maintained. It had an extremely cozy atmosphere, and was the perfect place to spend a snowy weekend. It was in a secluded and quiet location, surrounded by nature and wildlife. The host was very kind and diligent about checking in periodically to ensure we had no questions. Our group had a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. If you are looking for a quiet place with a rural feel, but that is still close to Lake Geneva's downtown, this is a great spot. My wife and I enjoyed a walk around the property each morning and evening, and down the lane through the cornfields. There are few things I like better than a quiet front porch and a book. The three cows were fun, too.

This place exceeded my expectations and everyone loved it! I had a 7 and 2 year old with me and they had a blast on the swings and looking at the cows. The cabin had everything we needed for them from toys, books, bedding, step stools, high chair, etc. Place was very clean and decor was lovely. There’s winding stairs to go to the upper level so just make sure you’re comfortable with those kind of stairs. Overall, amazing place. If I’m ever again in the area I’d definitely book again.

What a perfect cabin in the woods for a weekend getaway. It's close to all the hot spots, but still feels secluded in private. The cozy feel and privacy was exactly what me and my friends were looking for. The extra touches made the experience extra special. My friend forgot her toothbrush and there were spares in the master bath. I would highly recommend this cabin!

I’ve stayed at this property before and loved it so much I couldn’t wait to come back. It’s cozy, nicely appointed, immaculately clean and the best of both worlds:it’s on 20 very quiet secluded acres yet right off the beaten path to shops, restaurants, watering holes, etc. If you want to relax it’s perfect but also you can get out and about in mere minutes.

I spent hours looking through hundreds of cabins near Chicago, and I can confidently say this one is absolutely perfect. The location is fantastic—very private yet just a short drive to downtown Lake Geneva. Check-in was incredibly easy, and the cabin had everything we needed. It was beautifully, impeccably decorated for Christmas, making our stay feel extra special. We loved how quiet it was, and watching the wildlife outside was such a treat. A highlight was spotting a resident red-headed woodpecker, whom we affectionately named Hickory. The fireplaces were the cherry on top, creating cozy, relaxing evenings. This cabin is honestly one of the best we've ever stayed at.

We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin surrounded by woods. Great for relaxing family time, and we also went to Lake Geneva shopping and rented a boat for a few hours. We sat around the fire pit roasting marshmellows, listened to the birds while swinging in the seats in the gazebo, and used the gas grill. The cabin has all the supplies you need, and is really comfortable. We loved visiting the cows twice a day and walking the long driveways in the forest and farmland. We would definitely like to visit again. Hope was very responsive to any question we had.

We had a wonderful stay! I'll start by saying it was the cleanest (and I mean just spotless) Vrbo we have ever been to. A great location right between everything. The hosts were so gracious, kind and responsive. They literally thought of everything. The layout of the cabin was quaint and charming for our family of 5 but might not work for some. On the main level there is only one private room with a queen bed and it also has the only full bath plus washer and dryer. It also has the door leading to the back porch. Up the spiral stair case are the other two beds. While they are somewhat private (there is a screen you can put up they have provided) there are no doors to close and it's open to the downstairs as well. Between these two spaces is a half bath. Again this was no issue for us but if you have adults that aren't family it might be not private enough. I'd say two adult couples would also be fine if they are ok with one shower. Beds were all comfortable and linens were very nice. The upstairs also has lower ceilings in areas. We are tall and it didn't bother us (again added to the charm) but I know some are bothered by that. Outside are two great porches, a firepit area and patio plus a gazebo with 2 fun swings that can be lit up at night. My teenagers loved this! Don't hesitate on this cabin. It's everything you want and more as long as you are comfortable with the sleeping arrangements. I would book this property again in a heartbeat! Don't wait to book!
