Plenty of space, well stocked. Very comfortable. Enjoyed BarBQing on the gas grill. Our daughter baked a cake for our sons bday. I was able to hike Elden Mountain trails in walking distance of the cabin. Thank you for a charming stay.

Just a beautiful spot, Made it feel like we were farther out into the country than we were, but hop in the car and you were close to everything. Or walk to the nearby parks.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. I visited in January with my husband and our kids, ages 7 and 9. There was plenty of room for all of us, the bedrooms and all other areas are nice and big. There was also a good amount of storage for all the winter gear we'd brought. My kids enjoyed running around in the backyard and playing with some of the board games they provide. The cabin was very family-friendly, with tons of dishes, utensils, etc. including plastic silverware, pack and play, and booster seat for young children. I feared the cabin might be cold, but that wasn't the case and we didn't have the heat up very high at all. The three things (all minor) I'd suggest were changed are: 1. Replace the chairs and sofas as they look rather worn. 2. Provide some power strips or something. I know older homes don't have a lot of outlets, so it was tough to plug in all our modern-day stuff. 3. Better locks on the doors. My husband was a little wary of the area (I wasn't, I grew up there and don't feel unsafe in any part of town) and wished the doors had sturdier locks. There's a small mudroom off the entrance which was really nice since we kept dragging in wet clothing and were able to leave it right there. I had an issue with the door lock at one point, texted the owner, and she called right away to help me. My kids are already asking when we can go back!

Perfect place to stay on our family elk hunting trip! We were greeted by a doe deer and her fawn who were grazing just off the back porch, and upon entering the home we were surprised how spacious and warm the inside was. The home included everything but our personal items. The rooms were comfortable and clean, bathroom modern, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could ask for to prepare a meal... from dishes and spices, down to even an ice cream maker! The décor was cabin style, with antique items that made it feel like home. We were out most of the day, and in the evening we cooked supper on a beautiful gas stove in the kitchen and enjoyed the fresh air on the patio. Then a hot shower and movie on TV before retiring to our comfortable beds. Plenty of room for all of us and the best rest we have ever had on a hunting trip. Our Family takes two trips a year to Flagstaff, and will not pass up the chance to stay at this location again. Our experience staying here was absolutely fabulous! Priced right, close to everything, and very easy to access of the main roads. We will never camp out or rent hotel rooms for one of these trips again if this home is available!

This property was absolutely lovely—very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The only challenge we experienced was with the internet, which was a bit spotty. My son is a Type 1 diabetic, and this caused some issues with his insulin delivery that relies on a stable connection. An upgrade to the internet service might be helpful for future guests who need reliable connectivity for medical or work purposes. That said, we truly enjoyed our stay and want to emphasize again how beautiful and spotless the property was.

Quaint cabin at the base of Mt. Elden, quiet location close to everything! Comfortable bed in the room facing south, great shower, we didn’t watch TV. We actually played with the triangle puzzle and solved it several different ways. We were obsessed! We also played Scrabble and had a lot of fun making up strange words. So much better than watching television! Best place to relax and enjoy quiet time. We sat outside in the backyard for coffee in the morning and in the front yard to watch stars at night. Five minute drive to the center of town, so many places to eat. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Places we liked while we were here: Grand Canyon Brewing & Distillery, Cornish Pasty, Late for The Train, Stella’s and of course-the OG Flag Brewery! Make sure to drive to Arizona Snowbowl park your car and go into the Agassiz lodge, you can take a small hike into the woods and back out and then enjoy a coffee at the lodge or ride the tram to the top of Agassiz Peak.

I’ve been a VRBO host in Groom Creek for 15 years. When I needed a place to stay I saw this listing and it reminded me of our cabin that we rent out. I fell in love with the pictures and description of this cute cabin and property so I booked it for 3 nights while attending my son’s wedding. What a cute place! The inside was exactly as described, fully stocked kitchen, large bathroom, super comfy beds, plenty of room and full of charm. Our favorite place to hang out was definitely the back patio! So relaxing and very quiet.Great hiking trails for us to explore just a short jaunt from the cabin.Stefanie was the perfect host. Gave us complete privacy but was there when we had a couple of questions. We were so lucky to have found this perfect place for us.Thank you!Pat and Joey

We had a short but PERFECT stay in this quaint little cabin. We spent all day exploring GCNP and upon our return to the cabin we went out to sit in the backyard and had some mule deer lounging and snacking just FEET away. It was so lovely and peaceful. It was the perfect little getaway!!

Kitchen was fully equipped and great since we cook all our meals even while traveling. We will absolutely stay here next time we come ski Snowbowl!

Our hosts were great and communicated everything we needed to know prior to the arrival. Especially the day of when the area got snow and she gave us the heads up. We used the location as our base camp to Page, Sedona, and Cottonwood. It was perfectly centrally located. There were great restaurants nearby. A Safeway and gas stations. It was so easy to pop out on 89 to get to our destinations. The cabin was perfect for us. Very quiet and had a spacious kitchen area with a full size fridge and little dining nook. The family room was also very large. Plenty of extra linens and blankets. The bathroom was also quite large. We slept in the back bedroom and never heard a sound, The bed was quite comfortable. We never ran out of hot water. Parking was fine but she did tell us to watch out for the tree :). You couldn't ask for better hosts and everything worked in the cabin. We have had some unfortunate experiences with cleanliness, shortage of hot water and lumpy saggy beds. However, this little cabin was top notch with no issues at all. We would stay there again in a heart beat. Thank you Andrew and Stefanie for sharing it with us.
