Stayed Feb 5, 2023We loved our stay here so much we didn’t really leave the property or sight see. It’s seriously perfect for little kid sledding. There’s a big hill, tons of snow for snowman and snowball fights and there was even an igloo cave in the backyard when we came. It’s so nice to visit the snow and not have to stay in a dark old outdated place. The one thing I will say is that when we arrived the snow was as high as the roof and nothing had been or was while we were there shoveled or plowed on the driveway or to get to the front door. So getting our luggage and just getting in and out of the house for things was challenging. There was lots of ice everywhere and no salt to put down, so while packing to leave my husband slipped in the garage by the broken door that wouldn’t close and badly dislocated his shoulder. We had to spend the next several hours in the emergency room before driving ten hours back home. Ten months later and he still has pain, stiffness and lack of mobility in his shoulder. He is a young athletic guy so this was a tough hit for our family.
