Stayed Mar 17, 2025Loved the property! The yurt was an awesome glamping experience, my entire family loved it, nice get away! We even added an extra day to stay! The 3rd night was very cold, however after learning how to use the heaters it never got fully warm but comfortable, thank goodness for extra blankets.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025Bedding wasn’t cleaned properly, my toddler found candy in a bed. Also the neighbors in the yurt nearby didn’t respect the quiet time (10pm-7am) and were very loud late at night.

Stayed Jul 17, 2025Very nice place. The yurt was very spacious for the two of us. This is a great place to stay and get away from the hustle and bustle of town. It’s less than 5 minute drive to Bandera and less than a 5 minute walk to the Medina River. The yurt and the covered deck were nestled in the trees with a hot tide at the end of the deck. Everything was very private even though you knew you had neighbors. The camp host was friendly and helpful with any needs we had. The Super host, Melissa was very responsive when ever we had a concern or question. We will definitely stay again at the Yurt Village.

Stayed Mar 15, 2024My family really enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and serene. The river was dry, but my children enjoyed the hot tub. It was a different experience all together in a new environment. It’s definitely a place we would consider going again.

Stayed Dec 26, 2023My family of 5 stayed for three days (kids ages 2, 5, 10). Even better than described online.. When you have time to take it all in you can see that every piece of furniture, every decoration, every fixure, was picked with intention and purpose. It all comes together beautifully. The Yurt was cozy and inviting and comfortable. The host Melissa really thought of everything and then some. The kids enjoyed playing outside and walking by the Medina River. We even saw deer on our walk. The grill was awesome. We made steak and veggies one night, cooked bacon on it another. So good! The hot tub was hot when we arrived and stayed hot the entire time. The temps dropped down into lower 30s outside and definitely gets cold inside overnight. I suggest bringing slippers. Blankets and jackets worked fine until the sun came out. The town offers so much for families. The Natural history museum was a big hit. The general store for ice cream and OTS for breakfast. We even managed some time to play at the city park. We found everything we needed at Lowe's to cook meals and grill. Just a charming western town. The kids begged for us to stay longer. They asked if this can be a new tradition, visiting the Yurt every winter break. Being here was a glamping dream. It was so perfect. Exactly what our family needed to relax, unwind, unplug, and make new memories together.
