Two Connected Mountain Top Cabins, Quite, Picture Windows, feel like a treehouse

Here is what makes this retreat unique:
1) On top of the mountain ridge so there is nothing in front of you, and you can sleep in your dreams
2) Tucked away behind a small hill so it is not visible from the road
3) Unique floor plan with two cabins linked through a connecting hallway so adults and children can have their own spaces
4) Huge windows with no curtains all around so the soft morningsun can wake you up naturally
5) Surrounded on all sides by large trees for complete privacy
6) Fun drive up to the mountain, so you will enjoy the adventure and get a chance to practice your skills to park on a slope
7) Located on the “Black Bear” path so you might get a chance to encounter a growing black bear family in awe
8) WiFi is available but not as fast as the city’s due to mountain top limits, so it promotes “disconnect” time to enjoy family time and nature. Upgraded for streaming.
9) Pampered by all the other living amenities, such as walking distance to community outdoor pool during the Summer
10) All wood décor inside so you can enjoy the rustic experience
11) Inside gated community for safety

The unique floor plan is essentially two cabins that are linked through a connecting breezeway. The main cabin hosts two bedrooms, two shoers, and two baths (jacuzzi) with 32-inch LED HD flat screen TV's upstairs with an adjoining balcony outside. Downstairs is the kitchen, dining area, a full bathroom with shower, and living room with 55-inch LED flat screen HDTV, WiFi, and river rock stack stone wood burning fireplace. There is a large covered front porch with log rocking chairs. The huge back deck overlooks a hill and has a hot tub, metal picnic table, and several log chairs to take in nature’s best. You can access the woods through the rear deck. The second cabin hosts a large 'game room' which consists of a pool table, wet bar (granite), sofa with pull out bed, a full-on-full bunk bed, 60-inch LED HD flat screen TV, and river rock stack stone wood burning fireplace. This part of the cabin share the same access from the main one, but can be closed off from the main part for total privacy.

Brothers Cove is not your typical cookie cutter resort in the Smokies. The developer paid special attention to keep the beauty of the mountain and preserve its natural environment. Most cabins are situated on 1 acre lots and are nestled in mature trees. There is a community pool called the 'Cement Pond' to cool off during the summer months.

Brother's Cove is located 7 miles from light number 3 off the parkway. It is approximately 15 minutes to Dollywood. The resort is located off scenic Walden's Creek Rd. There is horseback riding and four wheeler trails located within 2 miles of the resort. Located minutes to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville, there is plenty of shopping, entertainment, restaurants, and outdoor activities.

The cabin was just as advertised with the view, hot tub and other amenities. The instructions for arrival and departure were easy to follow and the cabin was very clean. We wish we had spent much more time at the cabin during our short stay instead of battling the crowds in Gatlinburg on a weekend in October. This was our first stay and we learned a lot for when we come back as we definitely plan to stay again. We would definitely choose this cabin/host in the future! The ONLY thing that was a very small bummer were the string lights at the fire pit did not work. That was one of the things that was different about this cabin was the separate fire pit area with the cool lighting (as it was very dark out there) that factored in to our decision on which cabin to pick. We still enjoyed a night out by the fire and made S’mores.

What an amazing stay in the mountains!! We seen mama bear and her 3 cubs every day we were there that was a highlight for our teenagers!! We all loved the hot tub with the view and the kids rec room was the BEST they watched movies, played pool, and other games and enjoyed having their own space. We do a family trip every year with our besties and there kids so 6 kids 14-19 and they were never bored, so that’s a WIN for us!! The rental was beautiful and the host replied Quickly for all my questions. Would definitely like to revisit❤️Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

We had an amazing experience staying in the mountains at this cabin. The views, the home itself and the property made us feel like we were on vacation! The sunsets were so beautiful and we loved the fire pit and hot tub. Grilling dinner while overlooking The Smoky Mountains was surreal. Highly recommend!

The property was just what we needed for our vacation! The kids loved the bunk beds and everyone enjoyed the hot tub! The property was clean and well maintained. The management company was easy to work with and communicated very well. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need and the lights at the fireplace added just the right touch. Overall, our trip was just what we needed and we would definitely rent again!

From beginning to end this day was very clean. Everything worked properly as expected. The Mountain View’s were amazing. The owner was very accommodating with communication and supplies in the cabin for every day, cooking and cleaning and entertainment.

We arrived and had no water. He sent a plumber so we thought that was the end of the problem until being awaken by dripping water from upstairs. I call him and he texted me URGENT! I said if water leaking from the ceiling to the bottom floor not urgent then ok. Well we have to walk down a very slippery driveway to turn the water off. He sent another plumber and thought ok it’s fixed. That night as we were brushing our teeth the sink is stopped up. I called and texted him several times but no response until the day we left and I explained all of issues and had tried to call and text but no response. We had 12 people in our group and after 4 people took a shower the rest was taking cold showers! Now I get an email saying that there was property damaged due to the plumbing!! We have been going to Tennessee for 30 years summer and then in the fall and this was the worst trip we have EVER had!! I do not recommend renting this cabin. There was no garbage can outside you had to take it to the gate to put it the dumpster. We’ve never had a cabin without a trash can outside. Thank God I always purchase the insurance because we are being charged for his plumbing issues that he told me the day we arrived he was having someone coming to fix the plumbing because a pipe burst due to the weather being very cold. So he knew there were plumbing problems before we got there. So why am I being charged for his plumbing problem that he knew he had before we arrived because he told me they maybe be there when we get there but they showed up about 30 minutes after we arrived and was there for about 30-45 minutes. It was not as clean as any other cabin we’ve rented. We spent thousands of dollars to rent this cabin and now we’re responsible for the plumbing problem that was not working when we got there. One of the bedrooms was also the game room so my daughter and her 2 children slept in there and of course the noise from people playing it would wake up the kids. We had to brush our teeth in the bathtub because of the clogged sink. Yet his plumbing problem that was already messed up when we got there we are being charged for it! Can anyone explain this to me?? Lesson learned and you have lost a customer because we will never rent from them again!!

We arrived & appreciated the allowance to check in an hour early as it gave us extra time to attempt to get a hold of the pm/owner to help before my daughter & her small kids arrived. However, description of surrounded on all sides for complete privacy is false. As the windows are all open and lots of them which is great the privacy is not as described. You can see and hear your neighbors. Here is a list of just some of the items found: -constant Leaking spicket outside could freeze on deck and cause accident. -Cleaning crew must clean in dark because ledges are extremely dusty when the sun shines through the large not so clean windows you can see the thick dust. Of course when sun shines you will see some dust always but this is thick. Bugs in lamp in kitchen. We have a picture of that grossness. Needs a FULL deep clean. -smoke detector non working & extinguisher expired (I’m retired fire chief) -black hairs in downstairs wall of shower before use -glass door off track dangerous for kids getting in &!out -inside of trash cans are filthy -bakeware disgusting with dirty fire hazard oven -comforter had stains -flies in game room NONSTOP. This was our biggest issue. When we arrived we have pictures which show piles of dead flies. So cleaning crew may have swept them in a pile but never removed. I asked for the PM/Owner to call me and I’m still waiting for that call. Housekeeping arrived 3 hrs later but this doesn' t resolve bug issue. I understand this generation may be into texting however I’m older and would have preferred a call to explain all that we had found so it could have been rectified. I asked for a call several times. Now I’m leaving a review with my list since I’m still pending the call. The first half of our trip we stayed in the playroom spraying our own store bought fly spray to kill the flies swarming on whatever filth is on the windows stained. My daughter spent every hour going in and vacuuming up the dead ones and then placing vacuum outside. This went on for hours the first half of our trip. They were no where else in the house. The room needs fumigated by a professional as this is not normal. We have stayed the past 4 years during the same time every year near this area and have never had an insect problem. My daughter, husband and 2 kids stayed in this constant buzzing of a room. -checkout instructions on fridge differ from emails. -house manual states outdoor firepit is propane however it is wood burning

Although there was a mix up with the cabin being cleaned prior to our arrival, management took care of it and made things right. The drive to the cabin was a bit scary the first few trips in/out. Very steep and I would not have stayed had the weather been icy or real wet without a vehicle made for that terrain, the mini-van we had rented, was not. Some of the electronics could use some attention to make sure they all work properly. We were unable to use the radio in the game room and the bluetooth wouldn't connect. Lights in the hot tub and on the back porch didn't work. Nothing major but just some things that could use some more attention. Overall, we had a great time. Beautiful views, great bonfire area, comfortable, cozy cabin and lots of fun. Even had 3 baby bears visit the back yard. Overall, we had a great time and I would recommend this home.
