Although the photos looked good and it was fairly cute, the location was horrible, we had a four-wheel-drive so it was easy for us to get in and out, anyone without would not be able to. First day I had trouble getting in because the door lock wasn’t working properly. After getting in the toilet had to be fixed after the first flush. The master is upstairs in the loft and the restaurant is downstairs. We left the day early because we were so disappointed. I’ve been going to Ruidoso for over 50 years, first time I’ve ever left anywhere early.

House and yard, unkempt. No deck, no seating. River was walking distance. Other properties crowded. No dishwasher, disposal not working. Now washing facilities. Lighting insufficient. Poorly furnished. Much smaller than depicted. Few linens, no shampoo, no soap(one small cake of soap) would never book again with condotel

The property was nice cozy and we saw some deer. It was a nice place to feel into the forest and close to a stream. Additional cost for Host Fees, Service Fees and Taxes were outrageous and added up to more than our 2 night stay costs. I booked the trip in a hurry and didn’t realize the expense that I got into until I had agreed to no return on cancellations (my fault). Watch out for those extra fees if you go!

We loved being by the creek, and spent a lot of time with the doors and windows open just soaking up the sights and sounds. We were very comfortable and grilled most of our meals outside. Only thing I’d suggest the owners update is the hot tub listing. The hot tub is shared with the neighbors and navigating that can be a little awkward. Otherwise a perfect place to stay and we’d love to go back.

In between two larger properties, no privacy and poor advertising of the accommodations.

The location of the property is perfect. Secluded enough and right up the hill from the town. I do wish the description noted that it is attached to another unit and that it had its on patio or path to the stream. We did use the stairway but it felt like we were almost intruding on the neighbors space. This of course didnt dampen our stay.
