Mick's Hideaway - Semi-Secluded

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is okay for what it is, a cabin. That being said, it is not adequately air conditioned, so if you go in the summer, you will be hot, and if you go in the winter, you will be cold. It is also quite dusty, and does not have WiFi. Overall it was a mediocre stay with no major issues other than the air conditioning, as it is advertised as an air conditioned space. We went during a heat wave and cabin did not get cooler than 78 despite being set at 68.

Mick’s Hideaway was perfect for our family! Our two teenagers enjoyed having the loft all to themselves and loved having their own half bath. My husband and I loved our room too! The bathtub was amazing. Both beds were super comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked with any and everything we needed and the dishwasher worked great. It was also great having the washer and dryer to use so I didn’t have to worry about doing laundry as soon as we got home from our trip! We enjoyed not having wifi, but we did have phone service (Verizon). Waking up and sitting on the deck with our morning coffee while listening to the birds was such a wonderful way to start the day. And relaxing in the hottub at the end of the day was the perfect way to unwind. The outdoor temps ranged from the high ‘80’s to the low ‘40’s during our stay so we used the ac and heat and both worked great. We were so comfortable and relaxed throughout our entire stay and we look forward to visiting again!

Our only complaint would be the bathroom sink is clogged,and there are a couple bulbs over that sink that are out. Easy fixes. Otherwise, perfect!

The couch was upgraded since our last stay and there were other improvements as well. We love every single thing about this cabin and are already looking forward to our next visit
