AREA WIDE NOTICE: Lake Lure will undergo a drawdown from January 1st, 2024, through the first quarter of 2024(March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet have been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. For more information, click here. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. This will not affect the smaller lakes in the area, only Lake Lure itself.

Beautiful mountain view, cozy cabin.
Great cabin and location
From the moment of arrival and driving up to the cabin to the departure of leaving the cabin was pure bliss! It was such a cute place and very cozy too! The views alone were incredible! I started my morning with coffee and the morning View and the nights on the comfy couch with the fireplace and a glass of wine. I was able to cook some dinners with the cookware provided. I am a teacher and really enjoyed the peace and quiet! Some things that could make it just a little bit better would be some more comfortable porch furniture and an outside fireplace to tell stories and toast marshmallows by. If You are looking for a place to get away from it all, this is the place!
My sister and I stayed at the cabin for our annual fall mountain trip. We found the view to be spectacular and the cabin lovely and clean and equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely like to stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. Plenty of room for my family and my sister’s. Only issue was the GPS took us to the wrong entrance gate, but the office answered our call immediately and gave us the appropriate directions to the main entrance. Apparently this is common. We loved the beautiful view from the porch and the upstairs window. Absolutely breathtaking. I hope we have the opportunity to stay again in the future.
There was a little trouble getting into the gate and the front door. However, the number listed for Carolina Properties was excellent help. Other than that, no issues whatsoever.
Great,relaxing,n comfortable
This was a fabulous vacation cabin in the Mountain. It was exactly what we were looking for. We had a incredible time. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
It was very comforting and peaceful. Loved the area we stayed in.
Was a fun week. Great place to stay. Very cozy and secluded. Only 2 complaints were that on arrival the door code I was provided did not work and had to wait outside about an hour spam calling the # to get the proper code to get in, then the canoe/kayak that came with the rental don’t have lock straps down by the water so other people used and left on the bank and I had to go put them away. Recommend getting a lock for those like all the other crafts on the racks down there. Don’t let those deter you from renting. The place is great.
