The location of this rental was great. The hot tub was nice after hiking. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to cooking meals. Per other reviews, the driveway was steep but it wasn’t a problem for our minivan. The campfire was perfect after a long day. I do recommend a new bed on the bottom floor as it sinks in the middle, better lighting in bedrooms for late night reading and rugs at entryway. Otherwise this was a great trip. Thank you.

The location was perfect, especially for a first time visitor. My daughter and I loved the hot tub and the living room area. We were able to both relax and spend time together. It was the perfect size. I will say - I wish the window doors to the hot tub had blinds and/or curtains. They were facing the bedroom I slept in and the kitchen, and it gave me a lot of anxiety to have them so open and exposed at night like that, especially since it was just me and my daughter. Other than that, it was the best spot. We especially enjoyed Mammoth Arch next to us and how peaceful it was during the day.

The hot tub was great. Kitchen was very small and had only 3 plates and 3 wine glasses. We did find a 4th plate under the couch when we were sweeping in preparation for leaving on Sunday.

The place was ok. Don’t get me wrong, we loved the seclusion, the awsome hiking right out our back door, the fire pit area and the hot tub. All amazing !! The landscape all around was great! For the price though, we felt it could’ve been a bit cleaner. The back porch was filled with cobwebs. And I’m not talking about just a few spider webs, I mean cobwebs that had been there for a while. The chairs were all dusty and dirty, not really able to sit in them. I really wanted to enjoy the back porch but it was to uninviting for our liking. It wouldn’t take anything to take a broom to all the cobwebs all around the place and dust the chairs off before the next visitor stays. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us, but definitely a turn off. The inside over all was clean. The bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets had long hairs all in them. I’m not necessarily sure that the sheets were dirty, but maybe just the type of fabric they were, hair gets embedded in them and doesn’t come out even when washed. But it was very off putting so we just slept on top of the bed with our own blanket and pillows that we brought from home. Other than those few things, we totally enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved visiting the Gorge! We will definitely return!

The location of the cabin is great. Close to everything - easy drive to all attractions. The reason for the low scoring, the house was very dusty, and as listed - not a fully stocked kitchen. There was only one bowl for a family of 4 (do yourself a favor and bring paper plates/bowls), there were no dish towels, or bathroom hand towels, and the oven didn’t work properly (we looked up the error code and the temp sensor was off). The remote to the tv seemed like it may have been the wrong one, as it did not work. Some scuzzyness between couch cushions also. The drive to the cabin is VERY STEEP and one way, so be aware of that. Overall, our stay was great as we only slept & ate at the cabin and were out most of the day. The view of mammoth arch is amazing and literally RIGHT in the backyard. My kids LOVED that part. Just needs a few simple tweeks in my opinion to give a 5 star rating.

The good:Unbelievable location. There's a beautiful arch right next to the property that is a simple walk to explore, and easily within sight. The bad:A lot. The cabin is drafty, especially in the kitchen where you can actually see daylight underneath the sink. The beds are incredibly uncomfortable, leading me to sleep on the couch both nights, where I discovered that the blankets for the couches were thin and not big enough for a grown person. The kitchen was also sparse; no salt/pepper, 3 mugs, 4 plates, 1 bowl, 1 roll of cheap paper towels, and an odd assortment of cooking utensils. The oven displayed an error code (F30) when we tried to use it.l, which led to us having to completely abandon a pre-made casserole for one of the dinners. The hot tub would be a positive and we did have a nice night in it, but when we tried to use it the next morning we felt a slight electric current in the water and decided the risk wasn't worth it. The towels for the bathroom are also probably the bare minimum in size and thickness before they would be called hand towels. Bring extra TP, only 3 budget rolls for 2 nights.Make sure you are very confident in your car. It is a very steep climb over dirt roads to get up to this cabin. All in all we had a great trip, but it was in spite of the bare minimum amenities, and a testament to the beauty of red river gorge and the friends we shared it with. I would not return here, nor would I consider any other cabin from this company.

Mammoth Arch cabin is a gem in the forest. Yes, the drive to the cabin works best with all wheel drive, my MKZ made it well! The fully equipped kitchen allowed to cook a wonderful dinner. Later on we enjoyed smores by the fire pit. Comfortable beds and sheeting. Hot tub to South sore hiking muscles! Location is near everything. We will be back next year!

Overall pretty great cabin. A few mouse droppings and some bees in the trash can that were pretty aggressive. But over all enjoyed the stay. Clean. Cool. And relaxing stay. Would recommend.
