You really don’t need to bring anything except your sense of adventure and a desire to relax. We snowmobiled, snowshoed, snowboarded/skied, went horseback riding, enjoyed evenings by the fire and watched the elk while eating breakfast. All within 8 miles of the cabin. We also did a day trip to Yellowstone. In the description they say it is well stocked and they are not exaggerating.

Lovely, high end, rustic cabin. This beautiful property was close enough to the skiing, but also provided great space to relax in the evening in front of a roaring fireplace. Highly recommend.

We loved loved LOVED our stay at porcupine park! The house/cabin is perfect for families. The location was great for exploring Big Sky, the Gallatin area and Yellowstone. We hiked, lazed and explored our way through 7 beautiful Montana days. The home itself had everything we needed and some things we didn’t know that we needed. The wifi and cell coverage was great which let us keep up with work when needed. We enjoyed the front porch immensely to include the wildlife that would walk by in the mornings and evenings. When needed, the owners were just a text away and were fantastically responsive. Thank you for a perfect Western getaway!!

This property absolutely lived up to the description and pictures and actually exceeded our expectations. The owners were so helpful and accommodating. The home is in a beautiful setting, great location for accessing everything we wanted to do and so well stocked with everything you need. Our only regret was that we had to leave this wonderful home! We would certainly recommend this property to anyone considering booking.

The house was dirty. We spent a whole day washing sheets, towels, etc. because it was so nasty. I rent high end homes on VRBO l the time; I would never recommend this place to anyone.

We have been renting properties for many years from Vrbo and Janina and Alexander's property was our hands-down favorite--the property is set on a wonderful, sparsely built park, very close to Big Sky (10 minutes from the meadows, and 40 minutes from West Yellowstone) so that you can enjoy the convenience of being so close to many amenities and outfitters, without the growing density and traffic of Big Sky. The views from the cabin's porch are simply amazing! We often sat on the porch, reading and taking in the peace, the quiet, and the views. The cabin is set in expansive meadows filled with wildflowers in August, as well as a great variety of birds (grouse, kestrels)--the wildlife comes right to your door! The cabin is wonderfully appointed (kitchen equipment, bedding, ample towels, games) and spacious. The wifi is fantastic--and enabled us to tie us loose ends at work efficiently--the satellite TV, when we used it, was very straight forward and unfussy--great connectivity! The cabin is spacious and the beds are really comfortable. The firepit was a huge hit--it was wonderful to watch the vast Montana night sky (and Perseiad meteor shower) just overhead while crunching on smores. The cabin's location is central to many day hikes (Ouzel Falls, Beehive Basin, Lone Peak, Lava Lake), expeditions (horseback riding, fly fishing, whitewater rafting), as well as the Yellowstone West, but also North entrance/Paradise valley. I am sure this cabin is a great location in the winter, but it is outstanding in the summer as well--not to be missed!

We all enjoyed your lovely home with the amazing views. Great access even in 38 of snow received in 4 days. Shovels were useful for walkways. Great time had by all.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! It is so Well appointed and has everything you need. Believe me when I tell you, we are very fussy when it comes to accommodations and this place is perfect! While it feels so private and remote it’s just minutes from skiing, shopping and dining. The owners are kind and super responsive. We stayed a week in February and skied, went snow mobiling, had a sleigh ride and dinner at lone mountain ranch, had a spa day and even brought in a private chef one night - everything is comfortable - from the beds to the couches! The wood burning fireplace is amazing and there is plenty of dry wood. The kitchen is well stocked with all that you need to make wonderful meals. We stopped at the grocery in Bozeman before heading over - need lots of water, coffee, wine, breakfast items and snacks- there are three markets close by though in big sky. Bring some laundry detergent as there is a washer and dryer - which is so nice to have!! If you are looking for the perfect place to stay - this is it!! We loved it and are confident you will too!

A perfect winter retreat! My husband and I wanted to get away from Chicago to a place that was quiet and peaceful but not to far from skiing, restaurants, etc. This home and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful! If you enjoy wildlife, we saw elk in the morning under the evergreen trees around the home. We also saw big horn sheep on the drive from Bozeman and on the way to Big Sky on several occasions. We did not want to leave and hope to return. Would love to come out in the summer or fall. Thank you!
