James and Melanie were amazing to work with. The communication was very quick and detailed. The house was perfect and better than advertised from the up to date high end appliances in the kitchen to the breathtaking views from the deck. They took into account every detail including the high end linen that is used on the beds, we are changing our linen at our house to these sheets now!! The road leading to the house and the driveway was a little steep but as they explained, just take it slow and in a low gear and you go right up them both with ease. Big props to the cleaning service because having hardwood flooring and allowing pets, the floors were spotless and the couches didn't have a single hair from pets on them!! We could not have asked for a more relaxing weekend. We will be back for again!!

Everything was excellent. My family enjoyed the hot tub after days of shopping and hiking in the surrounding areas. Location was perfect and the home was welcoming for the holiday season. All furniture and climate controls added to our comfortable stay. The magnificent views from all deck areas allowed for relaxing and a reminder to appreciate nature and all our blessings. The welcome baskets were a welcome surprise after our long drive and grand dog Dallas enjoyed his welcome treats. Granddaughter and family enjoyed the downstairs family area. It offered another gathering area as well as a private sleeping area. Overall a magnificent cabin in a convenient, private area and we hope to return in the future. Living in Florida it was a first time for a family member to visit mountains and waterfalls.

Great mountain views, comfortable homey feel, nicely decorated, clean, and easy to get to. Convenient entertainment whether you are casting your own music/shows/movies to the TVs or watching through the TVs themselves. Driveway was totally fine, the road getting there was actually steeper than the driveway but paved the whole way - no issues whatsoever with a 2WD sedan. The best part was the feeling of peace and solitude - the only sounds of life we heard were cows and the very infrequent cars on the road down below. Really feels like having your own private hilltop to yourself.

We loved our stay in this cabin! It was very clean, well stocked, organized and had the most beautiful views. We enjoyed the downstairs area with the games and hot tub! The cabin had plenty of room for our family of 5. The only thing that was only somewhat troublesome was the driveway. It is very steep and made me nervous each time we left or came back to the cabin. The owners left very specific directions for how to get up the driveway safely, but I would not have attempted it myself. My husband had to do all of the driving. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay for our family.

Jim and Melanie were extremely helpful. They provided a lot of helpful detail to make sure the check in process was smooth and that we were able to just dive into our weekend away without any problems.They have also thought of everything! They had everything we could have ever wanted in their home—they didn’t skimp on any amenities! We were welcomed with a basket of goodies and each room was well equipped with plenty of pillows, blankets, towels and washcloths. We were comfortable!The views are absolutely breathtaking! We arrived late at night and the next morning we woke up in awe of what we saw. Sitting on the screened porch, drinking my coffee and taking in the view was priceless. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

The house was very clean. Melanie texted us the evening of check in to make sure we arrived safely and that everything seemed as expected. The kitchen had all utensils needed for cooking. The hot tub was also very clean and had a beautiful view. This beautiful cabin was above all expectations! 10/10!

The view is absolutely amazing, i cant say enough about it. The cabin was awesome. Had everything you needed for cooking except for your food. Also, the location is excellent. Everything is in near proximity of the cabin. Would most definitely stay here again. Also, the hosts are very nice and helpful.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful with the most beautiful mountain views. It was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. We loved how close it was to everyone wanted to see. Brasstown Bald was only 15 minutes away. The owners always answered my questions quickly. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

James & Melinda were awesome! We had a question just as we were arriving and they got back with us ‘immediately.’ The view from of the mountains from the screened front porch was stunning. You could sit out there all morning and not be bored! The house was very comfortable and instructions were pretty ‘straight-forward.’ We would highly recommend this rental if you are meeting family, or friends. There are spaces in the house that enable you to play games, listen to music, talk, read or just marvel at the views. There are so many things to do in and around Hiawassee also. Would highly recommend this rental!

The views from the property are spectacular and the location is great. We were able to explore so much of the North Georgia (and NC) Mountains from this base camp. The kids enjoyed the hot tub nightly (on the lower porch) while my wife and I enjoyed the cool mountain breezes and amazing views from the screened upper porch. Lots of great family memories made!

Its a steep driveway at first but much easier the second time once you realize there is extra space at the top to maneuver into the carport. After that, everything is a breeze! Great floorplan, lots of space, amazing views from two balconies and lots of windows. Loved it. Can't wait to go back.

We enjoyed Melanie and Jim’s home tremendously, from the balcony’s sunset views of Brasstown Bald to the pristine cleanliness and tasteful decor. The home had everything we needed and more. The location was ideal - close enough to groceries and supplies yet secluded and private. The description was extremely accurate, and yes, the driveway is steep but not slippery (in May) even after a rain. We didn’t need the AWD at all. The drive looks more intimidating than it actually is. We were lucky enough to be there in firefly season and very much enjoyed the evening light show after amazing sunsets. This home gets five stars across the board, but only because we can’t give it a 10.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and the owners were very accommodating. Very private setting with great views. Added bonus, being able to park about 15 feet from the front door with only three steps up to the porch. Wonderful when bringing in your luggage or groceries. We would definitely recommend this property to others. Pictures really do not capture how awesome the views are from the deck and the location is very convenient. Overall, great property with excellent hosts. Keep up the good work Greene family.

If you’re looking for the perfect mountain getaway, this cabin in Hiawassee, GA, is a dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the mountains. Sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee in the morning or unwinding in the hot tub under a canopy of stars at night was the definition of relaxation.The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful—immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It’s clear the owners have put a lot of care into making it feel like a home away from home. Speaking of the owners, they were fantastic! Their communication was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful, making the entire experience seamless.Beyond the cabin, the location is ideal. We loved being close to hiking trails, charming wineries, and the unique shops and restaurants in downtown Hiawassee. Whether we were exploring the area or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere at the cabin, it was an unforgettable trip.I can’t recommend this place enough—perfect for couples, friend groups, families, or anyone looking to escape to the mountains. We can’t wait to return!

The views were incredible, and the home was very CLEAN. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was there. One of the most relaxing vacations in a long time. Did I mention how CLEAN everything was. The host was very responsive and helpful in every way. Am sure we will be back next spring to celebrate my wife's birthday

The property was perfect, the location beyond gorgeous, and the hosts ensured every single little detail was attended to. This was more like staying at a five star resort than a VRBO. The hosts are by far the most attentive, courteous, and helpful we have ever had. We will be back again next year!

This property was perfect for me, my husband and our dog! Although there would be plenty of room for a family or another couple! It was very clean and the views were incredible! We loved hanging out on the screened porch and hot tub, just relaxing. It had everything we needed, from bedding/linens to kitchen pots/pans/utsensils, even a little basket of dog supplies and dog beds and blankets were provided. The bed was very comfortable, TVs were easy to use, and some board games and puzzles were provided. The location was perfect as well, easy to visit Helen, Hiawassee and surrounding hiking trails! I felt the hosts go above and beyond to keep the property well maintained and to provide for the needs of their guests. The hosts are also very responsive if you have any needs or questions. I highly recommend! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home that is secluded yet close to good restaurants and fun activities. View is extraordinary. We loved the location and all the caring touches (helpful hints) and excellent communication with the owners. Cabin is well stocked and exceptionally clean. We only used the king bed but it was very comfortable. Driveway, while steep, was no problem at all. We would have loved to hear rain on the metal roof but who can complain about beautiful weather! Highly recommend.

The property is first rate and the view is just incredible. Owners super responsive and helpful.

We had a great stay in this Hiawasee Mountain home. The Owners thought of everything and were very responsive when we contacted them. We arrived to a goodie basket on the kitchen table and a beautiful mountain view on the upper deck. We took pictures every night of the sunsets and it was always different then slept very comfortably on the beds. Each morning we had our coffee out in the screened deck area and watched the clouds rise up through the mountains. The Hot tub also faced the mountain view which was nice in the evening. My son and I bought our motorcycles and they kept dry on the carport so they were always ready to ride the great roads in the area. We were just about 25 minutes from Helen Georgia and explored that awesome place several times and also enjoyed the music and beer at Hiawasee brewery and the delicious catfish at Hawg Wild Barbeque. Jim and Melanie really thought of everything in the kitchen, grill, and otherwise. Televison was very nice when it was raining or just to relax. There were a couple of premium channels already and always something to watch on the highspeed streaming. Tip...every channel is there but you may want to bring your own logon information. We loved it and hope to come back again! Thanks for an awesome 8 days!

The view cannot be beat. First impression was so clean and comfy. This is a HOME! The screened porch and views are just amazing! The home is very well stocked with anything you would need for an escape to the mountains. Communication with Melanie was wonderful and helpful! You can tell the owners love the property. The views from this mountain top home were amazing. The communications with the Owners was timely, accurate and professional. The home was very clean throughout with a well stocked kitchen. The owner’s book offered clear and accurate directions on operation of each television. The directions to the home were detailed and complete. Privacy is an accurate description of the location and it is very quiet and relaxing. I imagine that the fall colors would be beautiful!
