Luxury Mountain Getaway 5 Minutes from Pigeon Forge Parkway!

Cabin was nice and clean and we enjoyed it!

Pros: Beautiful cabin, beautiful area, and beautiful views, owners extremely responsive. Cons: Not really clean, cobwebs everywhere, floors dirty, and several burnt out light bulbs. Despite the cons, would recommend for sure!

Great place! A little bit of a winding road to get up there but still only about 2 miles off main strip!

The cabin was in a great location, and the check-in process was very easy. The cabin itself is very dated, was musty upon arrival and there were many cobwebs inside and out on the porch. In the kitchen, the supplies were sparse, large black ants were present on counters, and a large ant pile in corner by the dining table. The worst part of this cabin was the smell of the water. It smelled like rotten eggs and would almost make you sick just taking a shower. Overall this cabin needs a deep clean and something for the water smell.

This property was described as a luxury cabin, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet that standard. The appliances were outdated, one of the bathroom light bulbs was out, and the exhaust fan didn’t work. The beds were extremely squeaky and uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. We also found multiple dead ladybugs in the windowsills and behind the beds—definitely not what we expected in a “luxury” experience.The hot tub couldn’t be enjoyed after dark due to poor lighting in that area, which was a letdown. Also, travelers should be cautious: the road leading up to the cabin is narrow, steep, and not for the faint of heart.On the positive side, the pool table was in decent condition and the heating worked fine, but there’s not much else to promote. Overall, I would not recommend this property if you’re looking for comfort or luxury.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean and was everything we wanted for our getaway.

The cabin was nice except a few things. The fridge was not cooling, fireplace did not start and we were told they would not fix it till next day. We weren’t home during the day so they didn’t fix it at all. But the worst part was that there were raccoons climbing the porch so we couldn’t use the hot tub at all all night. If you’re gonna rent this place, keep in mind that there will be raccoons keeping you company in your balcony/porch..

Enjoyed our stay here. Even though we weren’t here much. It has a great view and good location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

We enjoyed the cabin. Would like to see a loveseat downstairs for comfort. Any questions we had were immediately answered.

My husband and I just wanted a mini getaway and escape our everyday lives. Loved the home really nothing to complain about. We stayed mainly there and the view is so amazing. I wish it was a little bit more open because of of the trees. 5 stars in our our books. Nice and clean. We enjoyed it.

THIS IS COPY OF A PORTION OF ONE OF MANY EMAILS TO OWNER: We have arrived at American Pie cabin. There is no WIFI, no internet, no way to watch TV or even make a phone call. This is my second email concerning this matter. When we rented this cabin, we were under the impression that there was WIFI/internet as stated on the listing. We have had to drive to town, find a place that has internet. sit in the parking lot just to make phone calls. I had to take a conference call from a parking lot because of no cell service in the cabin. What happens if we have an emergency? There would be no way to even call 911. This is totally unacceptable. Someone was supposed to call us yesterday between the hours of 10 and 4 to see about fixing the WIFI problem. My husband is a Chief Technology Officer for a very large company so we know technology and its not user error. The only connection is a 4G hotspot and that is so spotty that the TV can barely stream more than 30-40 seconds at a time. No WiFi password was provided so our phones could at least use WiFi calling for emergencies. To speak to our family we have to drive 10-15 minutes into Pigeon Forge. We would like to speak to the owners of the cabin to see what can be done. Thank you We wasted 2.5 days of our stay waiting for someone we were told would be there today to fix the WiFi problem. They knew this was not true because there is no WiFi to fix. The owner told us she would give us a partial refund. That never happened!

We loved our week in TN! The cabin was just as listed, with beautiful views & stocked with everything you’d need. Loved having breakfast on the deck and a drink in the hot tub at night ❤️ We’d love to visit again!
