The cabin was great, the setting was spectacular. Enjoyed our extended weekend of family time. Only negative was that there was an excessive number of bugs around the house of different varieties.

This is one of our favorite properties! We have been to the cabin several times and love the location with the river in the backyard, no matter what the season. The home is well appointed with everything you need and there are also fun activities in the area. We love to rent a boat at Dale Hollow and visit the K&S Lavender Farm when we are there.

Very nice cabin. The windows going out to back deck were great- the view was amazing! Loved the tranquilness of the area. The river behind the house and the noise from the running water was so calming. The cabin was great.

The property is beautiful plenty of room for our tribe. We really enjoyed the creek and a cute water snake travels back and forth thru the day. We named her lucy. Every part of this property was enjoyed

We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed our time! The house had AMAZING views and we very much enjoyed the river. I loved how every bedroom had its own bathroom. If I had any suggestions it would be it needs cleaned better. It wasnt horrible by any means but there were dead bugs in upstairs bathtub and a hair on the bathtub wall when we arrived. There were severals cobwebs different places too. Also, it would be very helpful if there was a sign at the Y when you come down the street telling you the house numbers that are down the hill. Its hard to see that there are other houses down the hill and I thought the rd was a drive way so we didn't turn down it at first. Would've been very hard to find in the dark! I personally will get a house closer to the marina next time but if you don't mind a 20 min drive then I'd totally recommend this house. They were extremely easy to communicate with and check in/out was a breeze also.

My family and I loved this property. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare all of our meals. The wrap around porch was gorgeous with plenty of seating. The river behind the cabin provided hours of entertainment. The hosts were excellent. We hope to visit again soon.

Picturesque and quiet! Perfect place to relax and unwind. Would encourage visitors to arrive during the daylight hours. Can be challenging to find in the dark.

Absolutely loved this listing. The river is beautiful, the house is spacious, and it’s located just a fairly short drive to places like Byrdstown and Livingston for shopping or Standing Stone Park for hiking. The hosts were very pleasant and quick to respond. I would absolutely stay here again.

This was our second time staying here. It’s always a great trip. Owners are great and easy to work with. Would’ve been 5 stars all the way but showers and bath tub had slot of bugs. (Gnats and what not) daughters bed blanket had a lot of dead gnats on it as well. Other than that I highly recommend. Beautiful home and area

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The location is perfect, providing a serene escape for my family, especially my mom, who has just recovered from cancer. It was heartwarming to see her relax and enjoy the surroundings. My kids were in their element, spending nearly all their time splashing around in the river, which was such a delight to witness. The river hike was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. It offered a fantastic workout while allowing us to connect with nature. We were lucky enough to spot fish, turtles, and even a water snake, making the experience truly memorable. We spent most of our time in the cozy cabin, which was a fantastic home base for our adventures. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, allowing us to cook delicious meals right up until our last day. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the master bedroom could use a more comfortable comforter, but that's a minor detail in an otherwise perfect stay. The owners were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any inquiries, which made our experience even better. I am already planning our next visit!

Our second stay was remarkable. The weather couldn't have been better. Wolf River was crystal clear - whether it was fishing, floating, swimming or just sitting it was perfect. Thank you for replacing the queen bed mattress!!! The kitchen was well supplied with pantry items. Plenty of room for the 6 of us.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. The cabin is very spacious and well appointed. We ate most of our meals in and found everything we needed - from salt & pepper, pans, knives, cutting boards to the nice outdoor grill. The listing doesn't show the master bedroom/bath, but they are spacious, and the bath has two vanities, stand up shower as well as a large, jetted tub (we didn't use the tub). Showers were very hot, and the water pressure is amazing! The porch wraps around 3/4 of the cabin and has a patio table and rockers with ceiling fans to keep you cool! The deck on the river side is large with a patio table. The deck was the perfect place to read or do yoga, while listening the flow of the river and taking in the amazing canyon view. The river is beautiful with crystal clear water. Our week was very hot so spent a lot of time sitting in the river to cool off. We enjoyed walking the river's edge to check out the rocks and nature. Lots of nature - resident blue heron, bald eagle, box turtle, lizards, crawfish. The canyon only has about 5 houses and is extremely peaceful. We only saw one set of neighbors one time. It was a great place to unplug (although wifi and tv work great)! We did a few hikes in the Pickett State Park and Bunkham cave and both were beautiful areas. We also visited The Lavender on K&S farm and thoroughly enjoyed it! Karl and Sue are amazing people with a cool story to share. Their animals, gardens and little store are beautiful!

Stayed here with my family nd each kid brought a friend. Plenty of sleeping space. Each bedroom has its own bath which was awesome. The cabin is very nice with all the amenities you need! The pictures do not do it justice as the scenery and property as just BEAUTIFUL! We rented boats from sunset marina and would boat all day then back to the cabin for dinner and a fire with s'mores as dessert. Very memorable time and great place to enjoy family! Wouldn't hesitate to come back!

We had a lovely return visit to this gem on the river. Super relaxing and private spot for recharging! Owners are very easy to communicate with and have a well-appointed kitchen and home. We will be back again! Visited the K & S lavender farm for the first time (call ahead to see if it's open and they are available for a visit) - the tour from Carl was a highlight of our trip!
