The 1071-square foot cabin is one of five in a private, 35-acre enclave just one mile southwest of Smithville. Sunset Ridge is the newest one at Legacy Trails, having just opened in 2018. With gated access and exclusive use of Landing on Mountain Fork River (great fly fishing spot), we think this is the best vacation rental community in the Broken Bow Lake area. The river is about 1/3 of a mile from Sunset Ridge, all within Legacy Trails.
Sunset Ridge can comfortably sleep up to six guests (children welcomed!). The two bedrooms contain queen-size beds, rustic artwork, and ample storage space. To really get your appetite going, start off with some garlicky, cheese-stuffed breadsticks. Bonus points for their dog-friendly patio.
Rolling Fork Takery - 30-mile drive

We had a wonderful stay! Location was secluded and close to Broken Bow and Mena, AK, where we were able to bring our ATVS and enjoy the trails. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the fireplace was a sweet little favorite after coming in on chilly days. We will definitely be coming back!
Loved the cabin. So cozy and peaceful. I very nice getaway. Will definitely be back!
We had a great relaxing weekend at the sunset ridge cabin. Other than occasional highway noise it was very quiet. No other cabins were that close so we didn't hear anyone else during our stay. We enjoyed the fire pit each night and the kids enjoyed the s'mores. Because it's further north than most rentals in the area there wasn't any light pollution so at night the sky was filled with stars. It was just what we needed for a stress free weekend.
Sunset ridge was so beautiful and it was luxury, it smelled like fresh wood and it had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and air was perfect. The river is close by and we did some kayaking. Loved it! Definitely rent it again.
Sunset Ridge was a spectacular cabin. Beautiful, relaxing everything that we could ask for. Even though the river was just a very very short drive. It was perfect for our group. We usually stay in town. However, the way it is growing makes for a lot of people. So this is now our go to place to disconnect enjoy our river trip and our group we will definitely be back to Sunset Ridge. It was simply an amazing stay and trip. Thank y’all so much for sharing your cabin and the property.
Beautiful property, quiet and nice to have the river to walk to.
It was very peaceful and clean. We just wish it was closer to the water. The fish also weren't biting which was a bummer. But overall it was fun and the kids LOVED swimming in the river.
Adorable cabin!! Well stocked and perfect for a weekend getaway
My wife and I stayed here for 6 days. The cabin is very beautiful and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. The country is gorgeous and many things to do and see. We would stay here again!!!
Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. The property was clean and well-kept. This cabin was our second stay at a property in OK, and the charm did not disappoint.
Easy access, great communication during rental. Property was well stocked with needed items such as cookware, laundry, bathroom items. Would not hesitate to return and also recommend to others.
Nice and peaceful little cabin to get away for the weekend. We enjoyed it, will be back
This was a last-minute getaway. The property is beautiful and was warm and inviting. The owner provided ideas for local things to do as well as where the closest stores were. Check in and check out instructions were easy to follow.
Great property! Thank you!
The property was a great place to stay, it had a few minor problems
Words to not express this property this is one you have to visit yourself to see all the amazing views and nature would definitely stay again
Our 5 days was just what we needed. It felt like home away from home.
We enjoyed our stay ! Such a peaceful place , perfect for a small family vacation.
Drove from Ohio to this beautiful, spotless retreat. Great place to unwind away from it all. Stayed 10 nights and left totally refreshed. Broken bow lake is a 30 minute drive and “civilization” can be found there if you crave it. Highly recommend this cabin.
Absolutely wonderful location and the fact that y’all provide the kayaks for our use was just as special! We had the whole area to ourselves including the river!! Would definitely come back for another visit! Thanks for sharing your home and toys!
Perfect little weekend getaway. Cabin was clean & comfy. Enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the deck, patio lights for ambiance, fire pit, hiking and water nearby. Wish we had more time to explore! Had quick response from property manager and owner with questions we had. Will go back again!
