We spent a relaxing vacation nestled among the trees with few and far between neighbors. Peaceful, quiet, and breathtaking views of quite a few mountain tops. Spacious, comfortable, and large rooms with bathrooms. The ambiance of the sitting area with a warm fire and a Christmas tree, family curled up with cocoa and memories- definetly to be recommended to all.
The house is surrounded by a beautiful fall color forest with a great Mountain View. We really enjoyed this reunion trip with old friends. Due to the mountain gravel road condition, it is better to arrive at the house before sunset. Also it’s better to drive a four wheel drive vehicle and to plan to have dinners at the house.
This is a great property with a great view. We had 8 people space was adequate for us. There were no surprises. House was as advertised.
What a way to vacation! Lots of time was spent on the decks enjoying the view. Hiking near the creek was a favorite activity for the kids, and we all enjoyed the pool table and games. The pictures made the main living room look bigger than it is, but otherwise it was very accurately represented by the advertisement.
Our family and friends enjoyed our trip here at this beautiful cabin. The cabin had a spectacular view, and was absolutely beautiful inside. We had everything we needed and more. The place was super clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly think of, like a home away from home. All the beds were very comfy. We will stay again. Thank you for letting us share this beautiful place you own.
We would absolutely recommend staying in this beautiful home. Has everything you would need. The drive up the mountain is a bit terrifying but so worth it once you get to the house. We would stay here again. Thank you for renting out your home.
Wonderful property. Very comfortable. Beautiful views! Thank you for allowing us to stay
EXTRAORDINARY!
We had a wonderful time in this cozy cabin. Made some wonderful family memories and enjoyed the beautiful views.
Great property!
The entire home was beautiful, great bedding, complete kitchen with everything, great wood burning fireplace and great fire pit on the deck. Amazing view. Will definitely stay again.
Our group of 3 couples throughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin! The decks, views and spacious living areas made for a wonderful weekend with friends! The cabin had everything we needed, and was well stocked with kitchen items, linens, games and books. Great WI-FI if needed. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large, linens were nice and the cabin was clean and very nicely furnished. The road up to the cabin was slow and steep and manageable ….but wouldn’t have wanted to do it after dark! Any walking or hiking around the cabin is all up or down hill with some pretty steep terrain. We spent one day enjoying downtown Waynesville’s Main Street! Lots of cute shops and dining spots! Don’t hesitate to book here! Great spot!
5 out of 5
We stayed for a weekend to have family pictures done in Asheville. The cabin was well stocked and had a great layout for our family (me and my husband, our two small children, his parents and his grandma). We enjoyed the large deck and the views - breathtaking! We would definitely stay here again.
We had one of the best vacations ever staying here. There are a couple of reviews about the driveway. They must not live in the country. I wish mine was that well maintained. Nothing like a gravel road to get you off the beaten path. It was so quiet and secluded. We loved it!! We had everything that we needed to prepare meals. There were fresh coffee beans to put in the coffee pot. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the time spent together. From the early morning views, watching the sunrise to sitting around the firepit just talking and laughing. The only complaint that we had was trying to figure out the thermostats. I guess they were just too high tech for a simple country boy. That would not stop me from staying here again. Thank you to the owners and thank you to Vickie for helping us out and providing us a great place to stay.
Four couples met for a week in the mountains and we were not disappointed. This house is fabulous, five star all the way. It was so well appointed and decorated, really knew you were in the mountains. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare any kind of meal and the view from the deck was so beautiful morning, noon and sunset. All the beds were super comfortable, good nights sleep by all! The property manager Vickie was wonderful, very accessible and responsive. Your first trip up the road to the cabin was pretty exciting but got better each time, make sure you get the directions up the road from Vickie! Highly recommend this home for your stay in the Smoky Mountains, five star! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
Great location, quiet sanctuary with beautiful view. Wonderful setting for family bonding and games! Spacious bedrooms lots of decks and places to relax. Linens were so soft and cozy. Thank you
My family had a great vacation here. House was fully equipped with everything. Very clean. Great communication with property manager. Only complaint was the drive up to the home was rough, unpaved but we made it just fine with a suburban. Would stay again thank you
