The PNW Summer You`ve Been Waiting For — Right Outside Your Door

Summer in the Mt. Baker corridor is one of the best-kept secrets in the Pacific Northwest. The snow melts to reveal alpine meadows carpeted in wildflowers, the Nooksack River runs cold and loud, and trails that were buried in January open up to some of the most spectacular scenery in the state. Baker Bliss Cabin puts you 25 minutes from the trailheads, the river, and the mountain, and a cabin that`s ready for you when you get back.

Six Reasons Baker Bliss is Your Summer Base Camp:

Epic Trails, Right Out the Door
Heliotrope Ridge, Skyline Divide, and Horseshoe Bend are all within easy reach, each one delivering sweeping views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Shuksan, and the glaciers that define this landscape. Summer is peak season for alpine wildflowers and clear summit views.

The Nooksack River
The river runs fast and scenic through the corridor all summer long. Wade in, fish, or just sit on the bank and let the sound of rushing water do its thing.

Hot Tub Under the Trees
After miles on the trail, there is nothing better. Soak under a canopy of Pacific Northwest evergreens while the evening cools around you.

Fire Pit Nights
Long summer evenings are made for a fire. Pull up a chair in the backyard, get a good flame going, and let the night stretch out.

Bring the Dogs
The yard is fully fenced, and we have dog beds, bowls, and a few toys waiting. Your pup is as welcome here as you are.

Artist Point and the Scenic Byway
On clear summer days, the drive up the Mt. Baker Scenic Byway to Artist Point is worth the trip on its own. Panoramic views of two volcanoes, wildflower meadows, and easy walks from the parking area. One of the most stunning drives in Washington State.

Inside the Cabin:
The cabin is bright, open, and built for coming back to after a big day outside. The main floor king suite has a private ensuite with a soaking tub and shower. Upstairs, two queen beds share a full bath, ideal for families or two couples. The fully stocked kitchen handles everything from post-hike tacos to slow Sunday breakfasts. Pure mountain water from the whole-home filter comes out of every tap.

A whole-home generator means weather or power fluctuations never interrupt your stay.

Around the Area:
>>Hike Heliotrope Ridge for glacier views and wildflowers, one of the best moderate hikes in Washington
>>Drive to Artist Point (typically open July through October) for short walks and panoramic mountain views
>>Watch Nooksack Falls at summer flow, a short detour that`s always worth it
>>Grab coffee and pastries at Wake `n Bakery in Glacier on your way out
>>Wind down with wood-fired pizza at Chair 9 Woodstone on the way back

Ready to Book
Summer weekends fill fast in the Baker corridor. If you have dates in mind, lock them in, then start planning the trails.

>A Note on the Experience

Baker Bliss is professionally managed by PNW Concierge, a local team based in Whatcom County. You`ll receive thorough pre-stay information, responsive support throughout your stay, and a simple checkout — run the dishwasher, lock up, take out the trash if needed. That`s it.

Groceries are limited near Glacier, so we suggest stocking up in Bellingham before heading up the highway. If you`d like groceries waiting on arrival, a personal chef, or in-stay housekeeping, those are available as add-ons through PNW Concierge`s concierge services.

The full cabin is yours exclusively. A rental agreement will be sent upon booking and must be signed before the cancellation window closes.

Once you book, we will send you all the information you need to plan and have a great stay.

If you have any questions about the house or the area prior to booking please contact us, we will happily answer.

Neighborhood Highlights:
Baker Bliss sits in the heart of the Mt. Baker corridor, with the town of Glacier serving as your gateway to the mountains, the river, and the trails. Here`s what`s in the area:

Mt. Baker Ski Area and Trails
The mountain is the main draw year-round. In summer, the ski area gives way to hiking, sightseeing, and some of the best alpine scenery in the state. Heliotrope Ridge and Skyline Divide are two of the standout trails in the corridor, both offering views of glaciers, wildflowers, and the twin peaks of Baker and Shuksan.

Nooksack Falls
A short drive from the cabin and a place most guests end up visiting more than once. The falls run strong through summer and the viewpoint puts you right on top of them. Easy walk, big payoff.

Artist Point
Typically accessible from July through October, Artist Point sits at the end of the Mt. Baker Scenic Byway and delivers some of the most photographed views in Washington. Short walks, big skies, and two volcanoes filling the horizon.

The Mt. Baker Scenic Byway
The drive itself is half the experience. The highway follows the Nooksack River through old-growth forest, past waterfalls and viewpoints, all the way up to the alpine zone. Take it slow and pull over when something catches your eye.

Glacier, WA
The small community of Glacier is your pit stop for everything you need. Wake `n Bakery is the move for coffee and pastries before a morning on the trails. Chair 9 Woodstone Pizza and Bar is the right call for a hearty meal at the end of the day.

Wildlife and the Outdoors
The forests around the cabin are home to deer, elk, and the occasional black bear. Keep your distance, never feed them, and enjoy the fact that this is still genuinely wild country.
The home is not child-proofed - there are no covers on the outlets, or locks on cabinets and drawers containing cleaning products, sharp items, etc. You are responsible for taking precautions to keep your children safe.
The property has easy access to a quiet road and treed area, please keep your children within sight distance.
In respect of our neighbors we ask for quiet time between 10pm and 8am.
Our good neighbor policy is in the documents we send prior to your arrival, please read and adhere to them.
Only guests listed on the booking are permitted at the home unless prior approval by PNW-Concierge LLC (this includes both daytime and nighttime visitors.)

Booking rates, fees and taxes are listed in USD.

After carefully considering the risk involved, the guests hereby release, hold-harmless and waives all claims associated with the perils of staying at this home, which they may have against the property owners, their employees, officers, directors, and agents.

2 Queen beds and a King bed 3 bathrooms is better than any hotel alternative. With a private hot tub to view the stars - this was a highlight of our trip.

We had a wonderful stay at the Baker Bliss cabin. It’s well-appointed, quiet, and conveniently located near Glacier and a number of great hikes. Unfortunately due to rainy weather we were unable to enjoy the outdoor amenities during our stay, but we still very much enjoyed our time at the cabin. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Host was terrific. Amenities were great. The 5 gallons of water was nice but we could have used a couple more. Boiling water was a bit of a hassle. Lovely place and super convenient to enjoy the Mr Baker area.

Loved all the special extras to make us feel welcomed and having the fenced yard for the dog. The place was clean, in great condition, and as a side comment- loved the interior decorating. We would definitely stay here again.

Great weekend get away with my daughter to Baker Bliss cabin. Clean, well appointed and easy to find, we appreciated the comfortable beds, robes and my daughter especially appreciated the complimentary s’mores and snacks.A mini split heat pump kept the downstairs cool in the summer heat, and the hot tub was clean with a cover that was easy on and off. Recommend Baker Bliss for anyone looking to explore the area.

Great house. Clean and very nice amenities and decor. Perfect for our small family and doggy. Great hiking trail just beyond the quaint mountainous neighborhood. Would have been a perfect place to stay for going to the hill too, but we missed the pow. Looking forward to next time.

My husband, self and our dog went for a little getaway. House was very cute and accommodating. The only reason for 4 stars was the hot tub. The water was murky. We did use it one evening, but I don’t think either us lasted 10mins. We did use the pre measured chemicals provided, but they didn’t help.
