Enjoy the wood-burning stove, soaking tub, and deck views, or drive 4 min to ski or 10 to the Village. This private 8,800 sf cul-de-sac lot provides plenty of parking and separation from neighbors. Perfect as a romantic sanctuary or for a family retreat, come home to this cabin nestled in the woods.

Whiskey Ridge Chalet is exactly what you want for a Big Bear getaway. It has that quintessential moody, toasty cabin vibe: dark woods, plush fabrics, the crackling fire of a wood-burning stove. The large A-frame windows and skylights allow sweeping swaths of natural light to pour into the space. You can merge your indoor and outdoor living relaxing on its front and rear decks, and enjoy the Weber (propane) bbq if you’re so inclined. Spend some time outside in the yard and breathe in the pine trees, or take a stroll around the neighborhood full of character. This space, in handsome hues of butterscotch and whiskey, is perfect for a romantic escape— or quality family time. After a long day on the slopes or out fishing on the lake, you’ll be thrilled to call this cabin “home.”

Now let’s talk about convenience. Our Chalet is located in one of the most high-demand neighborhoods. It’s a 3-min drive to the Alpine Zoo, 4 min to Big Bear Mountain Ski Resort, 8 min to Big Bear Lake, 10 min to the Village. There are also tons of gorgeous hiking trails with spectacular vistas, and a handful of them start just 5 min away.

You'll have full access to the entire cabin and 8,800 sf grounds.

Our Managers and local team are quick to respond, aim to provide the best hospitality, and are eager to assist in making our guests feel as if they are Home away from Home.

We are located close to, or not far from, everything Wonderful in Big Bear.
Minutes from Both Bear and Summit, the Zoo, Coffee Shops, Grocery etc...

In Winter please check weather and road conditions for recommendations on Vehicles best suited for getting around. Please not that snow chains may sometimes be mandatory for some/all vehicles.
Vehicles are used to accomplish most if not all errands in our area though we are located in a mostly flat neighborhood that is beautiful to walk for recreation or exercise.

If weather conditions hinder a guests ability to check in on their confirmed reservation date, we will allow a re-booking of the property for a later date but do not permit cancellation.

If ANY house rules are violated, renters must vacate property immediately. Renter forfeits all rental funds and security deposit and house rules violation(s) could also incur additional charges

-No smoking anywhere on the property.
-No pets
- People other than those listed in the Guest party may not be on site without prior written consent. Any additional guests on site at anytime will be $100 per person per day.
- No partying or noise disturbance is allowed. Quiet time is after 10pm in Big Bear. Any noise complaints from any neighbor or anyone associated with the property will result in 100% loss of remaining rental amount and the entirety of security deposit.
- All guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
- Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities and are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
- Guests will not film on the property or stage photoshoots of any kind or record, edit or otherwise produce content of any kind unless granted permission by owner and property manager prior to booking. Violators of this agreement will forfeit all remaining rental funds and security deposit and leave the premises immediately.
- Guests will not use the premises for any unlawful purposes whatsoever.
- Any excessive damage to furniture or other material objects associated with the property will be subject to security deposit loss at the discretion of the Property Manager
-If this reservation is made while the City is under the Covid 19 Ordinance you must be from the same household
-ID’s will be checked by host at time of check in.
-GUESTS will pay ALL fines resulting from breaking 10pm quiet time ordinance and or Code Enforcement being called out.
-Any and all Fines charged to owner as a result of House Rule violations with regards to unauthorized party/cars , loud music, noise complaints all unneighborly behavior where Code enforcement is dispatched will be paid by booking guest.

    So comfortable and cozy. We loved the fireplace and the record player, and the kids had a great time playing with the snow in the backyard. The location is excellent as well—Big Bear Snow Play is right at the foot of the hills, and Bear Mountain Ski Resort is just a few minutes away.

    Ben was an absolute goat with getting back to us during a communications glitch. Answered all of my questions and calls in a timely manner. The place was super cute and had all the amenities we could ask for, it was a lovely place to spend my 40th with my partner; we could not recommend this place enough.

    Came here with my daughter. We wanted to getaway as we had a couple passings in our family, work was is crazy and I wanted to just getaway. A beautiful cabin/home. Looks like the pictures. Great location. Quiet. We will definitely book again.
