Location: Long View Lodge is a majestic, true log cabin, located in Georgia's Chattahoochee National Forest near the end of Hwy. 2 where forest roads enter the Cohutta Wilderness. It is a 10-15 minute drive to Jack's River hiking and the Cohutta trailheads, a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge or McCaysville, 25 minutes to Ducktown, TN for thrilling whitewater rafting on the Ocoee and 1hr 45 minutes from downtown Atlanta.
Long View Lodge's rustic-luxury style blends Canadian western red cedar logs with reclaimed barn wood floors, Tennessee fieldstone fireplaces, custom lighting & furniture, antique rugs, original art, and high-end appliances to create a beautiful, warm accommodation. Spacious yet cozy, this cabin is designed from top to bottom to make the most of an incredible long-range view of the layered, Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. Nearby hiking, fly fishing, zip-lining, whitewater rafting, boating, paddleboarding, horseback riding, apple picking, fine dining, breweries, boutiques, galleries, spa trips, a world-famous drive-in theater--all of these may be tempting, but nothing compares to the treat of a real vacation relaxing on the deck among family and friends as the Long View feeds your soul.

Beautiful view, beautiful cabin, perfect layout for 3 families with kids.
This property has top amenities and is privately located with unobstructed views! Loved this home and would come back!
This place is awesome. The pictures give you an idea, but you really have to go there to fully appreciate it. Went up with friends for a relaxing fall weekend and had a blast. It’s about 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, so it was a easy (and beautiful) drive into town. The kitchen if fully stocked and ready for gourmet meal prep. There are so many sitting nooks that you can find a new “favorite “ spot several times during your stay. Overall just a really great experience. One caveat I would mention is that the driveway is really steep and fairly long. We were there in November and with a blanket of fallen leaves over the concrete getting in and out was challenging. The two-wheel-drive vehicles in our party couldn’t make it up because the leaves made it so slick the tires would just spin. We had to use the all-wheel-drive vehicles to ferry the others (and their luggage) up to the house. I also had to use the downhill descent function to get down and still slid some.
One can tell the decor in this log home has been carefully curated. So charming! The kids bunk room was FANTASTIC! The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked steaks on the Big Green Egg. The only negative was it needed to be dusted.
The property was incredible. Amenities were awesome from the green egg to the wolf range. The view was majestic. Drinking coffee in the morning taking in the beauty of the mountains to finishing off the evening with a glass of wine star gazing and seeing satellites fly by. Just great. Will stay again in the future.
Great cabin! We'll be back! Very friendly
