Lone Star Cabin No. 6 is located just 5 ½ miles east of downtown Fredericksburg on US Hwy 290 right in the middle of a number of special destination points. The Cabin is approximately 900 square feet in size with a large Primary Bedroom, King size bed & closet, and large bathroom. The floor plan includes a living room, kitchen Island with seating and full kitchen (open concept). There is a smart TV in the living room. Stayed Mar 1, 2024The location is perfect. Not too far from downtown. Close to many great wineries. The property was clean and smelled lovely when we arrived. A good bed and nice bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. It is a beautiful property and very well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Aug 5, 2022Very nice and unique property and it was just as the pictures depicted and clean / well maintained. It was quiet and private - nice to have a back porch with a nature view and not too close to the other cabins. The location was perfect - 5 minutes away from Main Street and right across the street from the Altstadt brewery and next to wineries. The owner was very accommodating and responded to questions. I would stay here again and looks like he is expanding, so will have more cabins to offer soon.

Stayed May 15, 2020We absolutely loved everything about this cabin. The location was perfect. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings around the fire pit with a glass of wine.

Stayed Dec 23, 2019The property was well maintained & very clean. People could get the wrong impression by calling it a cabin. It was more like a one bedroom home. The only drawback was the exposed concrete floor. It never seemed to get warm inside.

Stayed May 3, 2025This was our third stay at Lone Star Cabins, and again, it was perfect. We love the beautiful location just a few miles out of town. Close enough for a quick trip into Fredericksburg, but outside of town enough for a quiet, relaxing time. There was a small issue which Joseph, the host, resolved within the hour, even though he was out of town.We will be back…again!
