Very nice property. Good time was had by all. The last 1/2 mile is one lane road, but we never met anyone coming the opposite way. Keep an eye out for bears! We had one on the deck twice and in the yard twice. Keep those car doors locked too, bear left pawprints where he tried to open the doors on all out vehicles. Very nice place and an enjoyable trip.

This place was great, it was secluded and private. Can be in pigeon forge or gatlinburg in 15 minutes.

Upon arrival, the door code did not work. Luckily we were able to connect to WiFi so we could call the afterhours emergency line. They promptly had someone reachout. We were quite immersed in nature from the time we arrived. A bear decided to open the door on a guests vehicle and climb in and rummage through. He was able to take some snacks and make his way to the fire pit and eat his snack. He came back, but we had locked the doors and he ever so gently tried to open the door on both sides with the door handle. Unable to open them, he moved on never to be seen again. We then came in to a dusty house. A deep clean is desperately needed. We had to wash all of the dishes we wanted to use as we found remnants of mice in the area. After taking a shower in the downstairs bathroom, we decided it best to go purchase a new shower head due to the excessive build up of blackened mildew. The people and pups at the Ace were quite nice. After the treasure hunt to find the correct TV remote, we had to switch all of the batteries. Someone had placed all of the remotes in a nice pile on the fireplace in the gameroom. The game room was adequate if you only have one person playing air hockey, and cue sticks had no tips. The mattress in the Master, assumably from the 1940s had been well used and ragged. Finally, the alarm provided worked flawlessly as the Woodpecker alerted us at day break without fail trying to remove all of the bugs from the siding and columns. Overall, a fair experience.

Pulling up to find the cabin was a little frustrating. Seeing the cabin was beautiful. We just so happened to pull up right in time to check in. So super happy we didnt have to wait. Overall the pics online did not help to communicate how many actual bedrooms we had.. i had to basically sleep in attic. Place was not clean. Dead bugs under sink just left there. Not one cleaned it up. Hot tub was not cleaned we had to donthatvourselves.

Thank you so much for the amazing stay at your cabin, not only was there enough room, there was plenty to do to keep the girls entertained when we were not out exploring. They also kept stopping on the deck to enjoy the view…..there’s no words to describe it. You have a wonderful Gem in the mountains!!

Two couples joined my wife and I for an extended weekend getaway at the Livin Lodge. We chose the cabin based on pictures, past reviews and the location being central to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. The pictures of the inside were fairly accurate but the enclosed porch with the hot tub had a musty smell and this was the first time we stayed at a cabin where the hot tub wasn't outside. During our stay the pump on the hot tub started making a loud noise like it was getting ready to burn up. I tried removing the disconnect that I found in the crawl space under the deck but when I restarted the hot tub the same noise returned. We felt it was best to discontinue use of the hot tub for fear of further damage. I also observed water trickling out of the wall from the showerhead in the master bathroom. Both issues were reported to the management company. Outside, the cabin needs a bit of TLC. There is damage from carpenter bees and it's time for some new stain and paint. No safety issues but the pictures were not very recent. Also, the fire pit area that we looked forward to using was much smaller than we anticipated and no firewood was provided. Overall, it was a great stay and we made some wonderful memories. Just be forewarned that the cabin is a little run down compared to the pictures.

Great views, cool game room, & good location. Plenty of space and everyone enjoyed their stay. Need on main floor was pretty awful but everything else was good. Would definitely recommend.
