Place was amazing. Secluded, quiet, clean and comfortable. Really cool covered bridge on the road in. Saw a few deer as well in the evenings. Exactly half way between Blue Ridge and Elijay. 15 minutes to downtown of either. Perfect stay, will go back and recommend it to friends.

So the cabin itself was cute. Definitely small, good for a couple or a small child would be doable. It had all the things you need for a weekend trip. The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was perfect for a couple, and we quite enjoyed it. It just seemed as though it hadn't had any guests in a while because it was a little musty. The location is perfectly set between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The only problem was the access to the cabin. It is on a very narrow one way road that goes back winding about a mile to a uphill driveway that is not very easy to get in or out of. There are several cabins that have to use the same road to get in and out with only one way in and out. Definitely suggest having a 4wheel drive or Awd. It was a bit nerve racking. The host was very nice and checked in on us and gave recommendations on dinner. All in all, we enjoyed it.

We rent a cabin in different places several times a year. We chose this one for our anniversary weekend and found it to be a small cozy cabin for 2 people. It’s easy to find and offers great amenities for a relaxing weekend getaway. Communication with the owner was excellent as I had a couple of questions about the heat/ac unit. The hot tub was by far the best thing about this cabin !! It was great sitting in the hot tub with coffee or a glass of wine. There are only a couple of small cons that you should be aware of. You have to go out the front door, down the stairs to get to the hot tub on the deck below. The owner definitely needs to add privacy shades to the area in front of the hot tub because you can be seen from the road. And for this to be on a dirt road in the mountains, it’s the busiest dirt road I have ever seen ! There is constant traffic throughout the day, which again is a problem if you are sitting in the hot tub. I am assuming because there are many other properties along the road. If you drive anything larger than a midsize truck you might have problems getting out of the driveway as it’s very small to turnaround and difficult to get backed down and turnaround. I was able to do a 5 point turnaround in the driveway in my midsize truck. Nevertheless, we had an excellent time and I would consider renting again if privacy shades were added to the hot tub area.

Overall this cabin was perfect to get away. The area is nice, and it was more enjoyable than a hotel. One thing people should be aware of that is not clear in the listing is that you have to take a single lane gravel road for about 10 minutes to get to the cabin. Very steep driveway and several blind curves. Although the cabin itself is great, the road access and very steep and narrow roads and driveway were a bit of a pain

The cabin was perfect for two people. It was easy to find and just far enough off the highway to feel remote but not too far. We enjoyed doing some hiking in the area.

I think the owner has done a great job in making the place very comfortable on the inside, even with such a small kitchen area. Gas fireplace has a mind of its own. When you turn it on, it only stays on for a few minutes, turns off by itself for about 15, then back on for a few. I also consider the enjoyment of the outside however, when siting on the porch you have power lines crossing right in front of you and a transformer within about 15 feet. At night when cars come up the very narrow and bumpy road, their lights shine into your eyes. And when cold outside, bit of a hassle to have to go outside and down and upstairs to get to the hot tub. That said we still did have a relaxing time.

This cabin was just what me and my partner were looking for; rustic, small, and cute! We loved our stay here and fell in love with the cabin. If you’re looking for a cozy, secluded space but near enough to town then this is the place for you! We booked a week and loved every day. The cabin was everything we were looking for. If you need more space than two rooms and Mountain Views then this might not be a fit for you, but we loved being here. The cabin owner was super nice and made sure we had a wonderful stay. I could not recommend this cabin enough!
