Life on the River at the Cabin

Easy access, no mountain roads and close to downtown.

Pretty cabin with 4 separate bedrooms. Location to downtown Ellijay was great. Host was very responsive. One of the bathrooms had been beautifully upgraded.

Clean and spacious.

We loved our stay here. Michael was very easy to communicate with. Fantastic location — super close to downtown Ellijay, and an easy drive into Blue Ridge and other areas to hike, explore, apple pick, etc. Easily fit our family of four plus my parents (we had an extra unused bedroom). The hot tub was large and clean and had lovely views overlooking the ellijay river. The one negative is they need a new grill, or at least new grates, but it was easy enough to cook in the kitchen instead. We will stay here again!

Yes comfortable...although there were several items that were needing repairs...microwave door fell off, sliding door in bedroom bathroom came off rollers and glass shower doors leaked. But this did not interfer with our stay. We were visiting for a wedding and cabin suited us perfectly. Also, we requested a late check out which was much needed!

This place was perfect for our family for a long getaway weekend in the mountains. The creek was so peaceful, I walked in the park each day, and it was close enough to town to be very convenient but still felt very secluded. Clean, spacious, a great find

Great location. Walkable to park with walking trail or downtown. Brought paddleboards and found hooks on the dock. Had a great day with them in the river. Great food in town and tasting experiences at nearby wineries.. overall a wonderful visit and great house!!

Beautiful cabin right on the river, the park is just down the road. Ellijay is a small town with a lot going on and it's only a short walk from the cabin.

Sooo comfortable!

This was the cutest place to stay! Comfy furniture on a huge deck and patio that looks directly over the river. Well appointed and spacious, your group will feel connected without being crowded. Place feels like it’s in the country, all while in walking distance to town and a cute community park. Great communication from the host made a seamless stay!

This place was Perfect! Very roomy and clean. Beds were comfortable. Our family spent a lot of time on the back porch enjoying the peacefulness of the river. The hot tub was ideal after a long hiking day! The location of this place is great - just a short walk to downtown. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was great! Nice shower water pressure and hot water. The kitchen can accommodate a lot, but the host does not supply plasticware. If you want to take drinks to the hot tub or river, get some solo cups. There is no automatic ice maker, so get a bag of ice.The mattresses were great. We had a great sleep. Hot tub and river view is very secluded. Downtown Historic Ellijay could be accessed by foot if needed. Covered parking was very appreciated.

Enjoyed our stay but the river was not deep enough for fishing. The cabin space was very spacious. However there are several areas that need attention. The door entrance had a step that was difficult (too high and no handrails. The lower back porch was not easy together and the side gate was broken. Neighbours dogs attacked our small dog while my husband was walking our dog on leash.lower

Great location-able to walk to downtown Ellijay. Loved the deck & hot tub overlooking the river. Really nice hot tub & very clean. Property well maintained. Liked the house. It wasn’t an issue for the 2 of us, but only bedroom with an attached bathroom was the one with the bunk bed. Only issue we had was the neighbors dog barking all night long several nights during our stay. We had to buy ear plugs. Overall a great property.

Very close to downtown Ellijay with all of it's charming shops. The beautiful cabin had tons of room. The furniture was very comfortable. We enjoyed the coffee and pancake mix which were provided. The manager responded promptly to our inquiries. The lovely river setting was quite and peaceful. Heard the neighbors dogs a few times, but they did not disturb us. The area is great. Also close to Blue Ridge and Helen is a short drive over the beautiful mountains. We enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

This cabin was adorable and perfect for our family. We had 2 teen boys with us and they loved hanging out in the guest house. The covered deck right by the river was super relaxing. We saw several deer outside and did some fishing. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was super close to downtown Ellijay with lots of cute shops and restaurants. We didn’t want to leave! We’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful secluded property. Fish right from the yard. We stayed 4 nights over the 4th of July and had a wonderful time. We even were next door to the fireworks display. Walkable to downtown Ellijay and an easy 20 minute drive to Blue Ridge too. There are many shops and restaurants in the area to try.

This place is absolutely beautiful. I caught a bunch of fish right out the back door. The only problem was the neighbors dogs. They would sit in the front yard and bark all night long. We brought our dog and every time we took our dog out to go potty they would run over... We went to relax, but it was difficult with the dogs barking every night. They are nice old dogs so you can't just go yelling at them. If not for the dogs I would give it 5 stars.

Beautiful home & property. Plenty of space. Walking distance of park and historic Ellijay. Michael was extremely helpful. Would stay here again.
