Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 5 had a wonderful time and enjoyed ourselves VERY much. I gave 3 stars under “general condition” only for a couple of minor things, and they weren’t things that would keep me from going back. The shower door in the main bathroom was broken/messed up and made it very difficult to use. But manageable, not worth contacting them during our stay for. And they lacked cooking “utensils” like pots and pans. But again, not something that would keep me from renting again. The cabin was extremely clean, we had all the bedding necessary as well as an extra blanket in each room, views were beautiful. And communication when necessary was great.

The movie theater was awesome!! Great surround system to sit on the chairs and watch your favorite movies or lay on the bed and relax. We loved going in the hot tub during the day and late at night. The cabin was really close to a lot of awesome attractions! This was our second stay with Elk Springs and it won’t be our last! THANK YOU!

Being able to walk up to the pool was very nice. The air confectioner stopped working one day of our stay and within a few hours was fixed with just a few text needed to explain the situation. Great communication from the company before, during and after our stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful view/cabin! Terrible everything else! We are a family of 6 and drove 14+ hours to get to this property. We timed the arrival for a 3:00 pm check in. One hour prior to check in, we received a text stating that our cabin check in was delayed to 4:00 pm. When we called, the woman that answered the phone was so rude. She said that the check in time is just an estimate. Once we were allowed in the cabin, there was still trash there. The dishwasher smelled so bad that we refused to use it. The worst part was when we lost ALL running water. We called because we couldn't use the toilets, wash our hands, anything. We had to call a bunch of different numbers, and no one answered any of the lines. Once we finally reached someone, the customer service was again super rude and hung up on us! How can they legally rent out a cabin with no running water. We had to leave the cabin and go into town so our children could use the bathroom and eat. We have heard that losing water has been an ongoing issue for years! There are problems with the wells due to the heat. If we had known this, we would have stayed somewhere else.

It was very clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with all items necessary for cooking, the air conditioning worked well despite 90+ degree heat, and the views were amazing. We didn't want to leave. We'll definitely book through Elk Springs again.

Great location, convenient to everything. The cabin was much larger than we thought it was going to be. Lots of room for a big family or group with an excellent movie room, game room, hot tub, etc. The views are gorgeous and the cabin was very clean. FYI...if you're elderly or have someone elderly with you, the tub w/shower on the main floor doesn't have a shower bar for the elderly to hold onto and the 2nd bathroom with a stand up shower is on the lower level with two levels of stairs to get downstairs. The deck is also on the lower level. Because my grandfather can't do steps very well, we enjoyed the views from the living room instead (large windows).You may want to take a blanket for cool nights. The bedrooms have ceiling fans and large bathrooms. The cabin has an open concept that we loved. Would definitely stay again.
