Bear Hollow is a spacious, secluded log cabin located on 5 wooded acres in Hocking Hills, Ohio. Visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls and Ash Cave less than 3 miles from the cabin. It features a private queen bedroom down and a loft bedroom with 2 King size beds overlooking the great room. My girlfriends and I decided to celebrate away from Columbus and enjoy the solitude of Hocking Hills. And we are glad that we did! We enjoyed the hot tub, hiking at Old Man's Cave and preparing delicious food and drinks. It was just what we needed. Thank you and I'll look for Lazy Lane cabins for my next cabin adventure.
Great location for the areas attractions and great place for peace and quiet.
Look ..the listing for this place...dead on...wonderful.
Bery beautiful and relaxing just what we needed
Loved loved loved how secluded it was and it was still close enough to everything you want to do! We can’t wait to come back!
Nice cabin with all you need for a relaxing stay in a private setting. Was close to all the major attractions at hocking hills.
Location was perfect for hiking, very secluded area and surrounding woods were great. We really enjoyed the hot tub. I would request extra blankets or pillows, bedding is thin and can get cold at night. Pack beach towels for the hot tub as the shower/tub towels are the same and not enough to have extra. A package of coffee filters would also be a nice addition. Overall nice stay.
Loved every minute of the hot tub. Location is very peaceful. Enjoyed sitting around the big table playing card games.
We had a pretty nice stay and the Bear Hallow cabin was as described. Everything a little older, well water with iron stains in toilet a little off putting, very small bathroom and kitchen area with one of the biggest downsides being no dishwasher. There was also an industrial extension cord in the living room plugged into a normal plug which seemed jenky. We blew a fuse once and the maintenance guy Trevor showed up promptly to help open the locked door to the circuit breaker box and get us up and running quickly. The brand new hot tub with easy access on the back deck was a very nice feature but only fits 4 adults comfortably at a time. One annoying feature was the extremely loud and creaky floor boards -especially in the loft. Each time one of us got up in the night to go to the bathroom downstairs, we woke up everyone sleeping in the loft. The little fake fireplace heater was cute but would be nice to have a nicer & bigger gas fireplace. Lounging furniture was clean and comfortable and the TV was very nice. Also Wi-Fi worked well at the cabin. Overall a pretty good experience but next time I think we’d pay more to get a little nicer place.
We loved the cabin. Very cozy and turned out, way bigger than we needed. In fact pretty big place. We had a lovely time. The only thing we didn't care for was the well water for consumption, it was fine for everything else. Would definitely recommend!
Cute cabin, quiet and secluded but close to the Hiking trails.
