Upon arrvl we noticed an odor in the cabin, (smelled like someone fried fish the night before) I quickly went through all the rooms and sprayed Lysol air spray.The beds were freshly made and nice and clean.The kitchen table was a bit sticky but it was wood and finished I think that is just what happens after a while when you clean it and if it’s not cleaned with proper cleaning materials.The hot tub water smelled like mildew and we called to let them know.They said they empty the hot tub after every check out before a new check in which I’m sure they do,however they need a new cover as we believe that was causing the smell our clothes and hair and bathing suits smelled like this for a week after!Despite that,All in all we truly enjoyed our family time in this cabin.The kids loved the movie theatre and playing foosball.The only thing that was very disheartening was that when we left (and I’m aware they aren’t responsible for lost or left behind items) we left our sound machine in the kids room.I called hour after check out to let them know and that we would pay for the shipping to send it back.It took a week for them to clean the cabin supposedly hence the stench when we checked in, we had to leave a garbage bag in the cabin as the outside bins were full and we didn’t want the bears getting into them.I called 3-4 times that wk asking if they happened to pick up the sound mch in the kids room each time I was told they hadn’t cleaned yet.A week later was told it was not there.

Reviewer Comments: me and my friends had a great time at this cabin! it had beautiful views and was super spacious. we used the theater room a lot and the hot tub was wonderful. it was a bit of a drive to downtown pigeon forge and gatlinburg but ubers were super cheap. 10/10 recommend this cabin. will be booking again in the future.

We were throughly impressed with the customer service from the team when we reached out with questions. After checking in we found that all of the amenities were in great condition! Reviewer Comments: The Cabin was absolutely beautiful and everything was worked except the icemaker and the main floor bathroom faucet drips, other than that it was the best choice for our Christmas vacation away from home. Cozy and anytime I needed garbage pickup it was done within the hour. Great people and a beautiful scenery, we even had a black bear come and say hello. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook or bake. Even had a crockpot. I recommend this cabin for anyone who needs a getaway! Not disappointed in the least. But I would like to recommend a vacuum cleaner so the carpets could have been vacuumed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I cannot believe the state of the cabin (Lazy Daze Lodge) when we arrived! It looked nice at first, but as we started unpacking, it became clear that the couches were stained and the furniture and rugs were disgustingly dirty. The toilets wouldn't even flush because the septic tank was full, and the light fixtures above the beds were covered in thick dust that triggered my son's asthma. I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies just to make the place livable! The jacuzzi tubs were absolutely filthy, with brown jets on the inside. The shower in the master bathroom leaked all over the theatre room. This was by far the most unsanitary and terrible cabin I have ever stayed in. And to top it off, they refused to compensate me for the horrible experience! Oh, and let's not forget that the grill outside didn't even work! I will never support this business again. They clearly only care about making money and not about the well-being of their guests. It's time for the Health Department or Sanitation Department to pay them a visit.
