Inside the home was very clean and tidy other than the floors feeling sticky. Beds were very comfortable. Air hockey table did not work which was disappointing and the first night we didnt get to use the hot tub because it was being repaired. The other night only used the hot tub for a short time because half the jets did not work. Outside was covered in spiderwebs so you had to clean them to sit in the chairs or use the balcody. Pretty close to town and not to hard to get to. Our family of 10 had a great time other than those few issues. It was a beautiful cabin and the kids loved the theater set-up and games. There was no mountain view like i had hoped but still had a view of the fall leaves.

I want to say that if we had anyplace else to take our group of 6 adults and 3 children at the last minute, we would have. As it stood, we had to clean up the exterior pulling weeds out of the stairs, porch and around the front entrance use our camping blankets to cover gaping holes on the benches on each side of the porch. and swipe trash, cobwebs and other debris from the balconies, retape the hot tub wall as best we could before our family and friends arrived to keep from being so embarrassed! The cabin was okay on the inside; the outside was a hot mess! Weeds overtook the stairs cobwebs, crooked outside light fixtures with no bulbs! rotten wood on the benches flanking the porch, 3–5-inch large spider's webs in all the windows between the screens and the window. A panel was separated from the wall of the hot tub. Stinking trash in the trash container that was from a previous guest. Trash strewn down the hill where there was 3 bears that stayed around our cabin making it impossible to feel safe when we entered or exited the cabin. Weeds completely overtaking the whole exterior of the cabin. The rooms had an old stale smell. The fireplace was on the whole time in the main room and the kitchen. The refrigerator was filthy. Something was stinking in the sink drain that permeated the kitchen. The shower water ran cold after 2 minutes or less or it is warming up. The pool table and other games on that level are in poor condition deep clean required.

The cabin was the perfect size and the game room was amazing! Water was not the best as the hot water ran out very very fast. The floors in the cabin were not clean and our grandkids socks were filthy. Other than that we had a great time! Note!! Lock your car doors as there was a bear there daily and actually opened two of our vehicles and got into all of our stuff.

If you stay here, especially with kids- BE AWARE because there are 2 copperheads that live in a hole of the driveway. I messaged the host on June 21st in case she wasn’t aware, and still to this day (July 15th) I have not received a reply back. Also this cabin is FAR from everything. Do not believe that it is close to Tanger Outlet, Hatfield & McCoy, etc. because it is not! Once you book and are sent the address for the actual cabin you realize how far it is, and you can’t cancel unless you want to lose what you already paid to book it. The hot water in the showers on the main and upper level does not even last 5 minutes, so I hope you enjoy cold showers! The games were fun and entertaining for our kids. I attached photos of where the copperheads are located. When I took the photos we only noticed 1, it wasn’t until we were packing to leave that we realized there are actually 2 of them.

Lazy Bear was a fantastic stay!! The kids and husbands really enjoyed the arcade while the wives got to enjoy some wine and the hot tub lol. Plenty of room for our family and easy to access. Close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. Would definitely be interested in staying again!

This cabin was spacious with plenty for the kids to do. Most of the games worked except for 1 of them. The cabin was pretty clean, but the floors were dirty. Had to wear shoes the entire time. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. The WiFi was very spotty. Constantly going in and out and dropping calls. The climb up the mointain was steep and narrow. Driveway to the cabin was super steep. Glad it didn't snow otherwise we might not have made it. All in all it was a nice cabin and we enjoyed our Christmas vacation there.

I will start off with saying that at first the communication with the management staff was very easy and they responded quickly. The description clearly says to ask with them if you want to check in before 4 PM. I asked if I could check in early and she said she would get with the maintenance/cleaning staff and get back to me and let me know. Which they never did. After we did get checked in we had the following problems. The hot tube smelled really bad of algae! The hey said they were going to send some to put bromine in it. If they did, I wasn’t there when I put it in but regardless, it’s still smelled really bad of algae. I was not about to let my kids get in it. The next really big issue was the Internet. The Internet would work for about 15 minutes and then disconnect and this went on for hours. I contacted management about this issue as well and she said the router had just been replaced. I tried resetting it but it didn’t help. Also I have never stayed anywhere that did not at least provide a roll of toilet paper to start. 2 of the 3 bathrooms had no paper and one had a tiny bit left. It wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t have to go down the mountain to get to a store. This rental was very disappointing. If you have a large family, more than 4, bring your own cups and dishes. There were only 4 coffee cups, one was cracked. Pizza pans were rusted, there wasn’t even a sponge or dish cloth to wash or dry dishes. This cabin was overpriced for what was provided.

Cabin was not clean, had to call and ask for clean sheets, we replaced all sheets on all beds ourselves, we had to sweep floors, and wash all dishes we needed to use, as there was rat poop in cabinets and drawers. When girl delivered the clean sheets, he comment for the rat poop was do you want me to put the dishes in the dishwasher for you... Well not the response you would expect for the price paying to stay...

We absolutely loved our cabin. We were sad to leave. The driveway and parking was a bit undesirable, but the cabin was amazing with lots of amenities and fun. We will book again.
