The Property:
This house was fully renovated, updated, refurnished and redecorated in the winter of 2021-2022. This means new mattresses, linens, flooring, appliances, lighting, and so much more. The main level is the second floor, which includes the living room, dining room, and kitchen, as well as Bedroom 1, two bathrooms, laundry, and two decks. This main level has lots of great features. With skylights, two sets of sliding glass doors, and large windows, the main level is bathed in natural light. The living and dining room have very high ceilings and combined create a large space for gathering your group without feeling cramped. A freestanding wood burning fireplace centers the room and hardwood floors extend throughout to tie everything together. A large HDTV is plenty big to enjoy even from the dining table, and even better from the comfy couch. The front deck is massive, with open space across the street preserving panoramic views from Byers Peak across to the snowmobiler and OHV paradise of Stillwater Pass. This deck faces south and west, so it's a great place to watch the sunrise or set. Outdoor furniture will make this front deck a great place to relax and take in the beauty of the area. Back inside, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. It features stainless steel appliances and modern design. The countertops are a combination of solid granite around the kitchen sink and butcher block wood everywhere else. Creative cabinetry built in behind the sink adds extra space to the lower cabinets and stylish open shelving. Two peninsula bars offer options for serving snacks, keeping the chef company, or if you must, setting up your laptop to get some work done. A wall mounted and sturdy wood ladder leads up to the loft, which includes two Twin beds, and overlooks the kitchen and dining areas. Off the hallway next to the kitchen is a full bathroom and laundry room plus access to the back deck and fenced portion of the back yard.

Bedroom 1 is a true suite. It has a King size bed plus a walk in closet and a private bathroom. Its bathroom includes a vanity with dual sinks and a combination bathtub shower. One of the skylights is right above the headboard, so you can stargaze in the comfort and warmth of the bed. Perhaps you'll see a shooting star as you relax and drift off to sleep. Downstairs, the entry level includes a large foyer / mud room, bedrooms 2 and 3, and a large bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a King sized bed while Bedroom 3 has a Full size bed and Twin over Twin bunk bed. These two bedrooms are on the lower level of the home, but they have very high ceilings. Even the top bunk in bedroom 3 has plenty of head room! The bathroom has a large vanity with dual sinks and is accessible from the hallway, making it easy to share. The second bathroom is right at the top of the stairs, making it convenient for use by those in bedrooms 2 and 3, as well as anyone sleeping in the loft.

This home is located in a quiet residential area that is also very convenient to the recreational opportunities the area has to offer. Beacon Landing Marina and Lake Granby are so close you can walk to them. We had a lovely stay. The house was lovely and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped. Comfortable beds (though stomach sleepers should bring their own pillows), gorgeous views. We enjoyed the hot tub, hiking at Rocky Mountain national Park, trail ride and cross country skiing at the ymca's snow Mountain Ranch.

We stayed here for a birthday weekend and had a great time! The cabin was in a perfect location — close to both Grand Lake and Granby, and just minutes from the Stillwater Pass ATV trails, which was exactly what we came to do. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus after a long day of riding. It was a peaceful and convenient spot for a mountain getaway!

The Timberwolf House is a cozy and inviting place to spend your time in Colorado. We have been there during the fall aspen color and when it snowed. The accommodations were so comfortable and everything was clean and up-to-date. Several friends stopped by to visit and see the place. They were very impressed. There's so much to do in the area. Great shopping, wonderful trails and drives. Closeness to Rocky Mountain National Park. As a bonus we saw an elf and heard bugling. Amazing!

This was our first stay at this cabin and third time staying in Grand Lake and this cabin exceeded expectations. It’s close to Granby, the little touristy town Grand Lake has and of course, Rocky Mountain National Park. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the hot tub was also a plus as a huge reason we chose this property. Late night soaks looking up to the stars was unforgettable. Host was also great to work with.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home, we especially enjoyed how spacious it was for our family of 5, and the hot tub was the perfect way to end our days. The views from the patio were breath taking and location was convenient to the quaint downtown of Grand Lake, and RMNP. The hospitality and communication with the host was also wonderful. We would stay here again!

Our family had an amazing stay! This home had everything we needed and was a great home base for us while we stayed in Grand Lake and explored Rocky Mountain National Park and the surrounding area. The kids loved the bunk bed and the hot tub was amazing after a long day of hiking. We would recommend putting blinds or curtains on the sliding doors, as it gets a bit bright in the living room when the sun goes down. There was great communication from the host and he was super nice. I would recommend this home to anyone staying in the Rocky Mountain National Park area! Make sure you take the time to drive Trail Ridge Road to the Alpine Center at RMNP! What an amazing drive! We will definitely stay at this home when we come back to Grand Lake! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!
