We spent Thanksgiving at this charming cabin! The kitchen was well equipped, and made cooking a breeze. I did bring a throw out pan to roast the turkey, made it an easy clean up! Check in was easy and was given 2 hours before the time to be able to refrigerate all the turkey day food! Definitely will be a repeat if available!
It was ok, location was good, but the place needs to be dust and beds sheets cleaned.
We were looking for a lake vacation where we could use our paddleboards, kayak, and other water sports in the lake. The listing led us to believe that this was the right place to do so. I even verifed with Evolve before we packed the boards in the car.. Were told purchasing 30 dollar each wrist bands would gain us access. Unfortunately the lake and beach clubs in listing are private and we could not get in even with wristbands. Not much else to do there. While pretty surroundings we wanted an active vacation and wasted our time and money. I was told by the Lake Association that I was misled. I asked owners for 50 percent compensation as if we knew the reality we would not have booked. They gave us 272 dollars and an apology. To me, 272 was not adequate to compensate for wasting our vacation time and money.
Family had a wonderful time. But pls be advised that the photos they uploaded online was too filtered. Property was clean though and well equipped, except for the barbecue grill that seemed not been cleaned since it was bought. All food debris stucked at the bottom. And pls emphasize that the washer and dryer is inside in one of the bedroom. Which is no big deal. Overall it was a good stay.
Property was good and located on a quiet area. If you want piece and quiet, this would be the place to stay.
We had a great time, and watched the best firework ever from the patio. We had the best time, and the bracelets gave us dishes, but also strip our linen and place next to the laundry machine. For the amount we paid for cleaning felt like unfair. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.
Great cabin, close to amenities and the village!
Nice and cozy little cabin. It had everything we needed like blankets, pillows, food utensils, heaters, shampoo, and towels. Thank you for your place. No complaints.
As description stated, this property is not for seniors with ambulatory challenges….stairs to get to the front door and stairs (very narrow and steep) to get to two bedrooms and the bathroom upstairs. The outside deck is very nice and has a gorgeous view, but is in the shade all day…not suitable for crisp fall weather. We had a couple of issues: 1. We had no control of the thermostat…it read 69 degrees while we were there, which meant bundling up in extra layers inside the house. 2. The kitchen sink backed up each time we used it. It would, eventually, drain but made doing dishes a longer than usual process. The house was priced fairly for the level of accommodations.
Had a great time nice cabin and beautiful view of lake. Will book again!
The cabin itself is cute. However, it is in need of a good cleaning. Floors were filthy - Our socks were very dirty after five minutes of walking around and the bathroom floor upstairs had hair and scuff marks. The flooring upstairs creaks loudly so I would not suggest anyone to sleep in the bottom rooms if you're a light sleeper. The nightly rate is much too high for what you get.
We had a great weekend! The property manager was always quick to respond. Check in was very easy with door code given before we arrived. House is just like the pictures. We grilled every night and enjoyed the beautiful lake views. House was clean and bed was comfortable. Kitchen was stocked well including many types of spices. Paper towels, sponges, dish soap and hand soap was supplied. Lots of bathroom towels and soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. (I’ve stayed at other rentals with nothing supplied so this was appreciated.) Very steep stairs, but we didn’t use upstairs so not a problem. We look forward to staying again!
Great place to entertain family and friends… Great outdoor deck with propane barbecue and a beautiful clean kitchen. ALA pass was greatly appreciated… we enjoyed walking along the South Shore boat docks next to the Village.
The view from bedroom and deck is beautiful. Kitchen is small, so unless you are doing a lot of cooking, no big deal.
Kitschy, rustic feel. Really nice deck. My wife got up early every day and sat on the porch to watch the sunrise. A couple of meals on the deck. Nice view. Proximity to town is nice. We were there during a warm August. Downstairs AC kept things cool during day. Bedrooms have individual AC units (which we didn't realize until last day), but overnight window cooling was quite sufficient. Kitchen was small, but sufficient for our five person group. Would be harder with larger groups (especially for indoor seating in winter). Pots/pans/plates/utensils typical for a VRBO. Only negative: upstairs bedrooms are laid out oddly -- the 4th bedroom is accessed through upstairs bathroom, which is accessed through 3rd bedroom. Allocation of bedrooms to family members needs to be considered before booking. Suspect 4th bedroom was a large walk-in closet previously. But, 4th bedroom also is the quietest. Would like to go there again.
Lovely
We very much enjoyed this property. Cozy and clean.
My family had a great holiday getaway. The home was spacious enough for the five of us, convenient location and had a lovely view. Our only issue was checking in. I received multiple email check-in instructions with different keyless entry codes. Management was responsive and we got in ok. Check-out instructions I received by email were different than what was typed out in the house guest book. We followed the email instructions and hope that will suffice!
We took Grandma and Grandpa on a nice getaway! We loved the location and it had everything we needed! Also very clean! We would recommend it!
