This is our second visit to lakefront cottage and it has to be the most relaxing place we’ve ever stayed. Just sitting and looking at the lake is something you could do all day.Honeymoon in ‘22 and returned in ‘25 and it is unchanged. Ideal spot for foraging into Belfast and Camden, both towns with excellent restaurants.

We opened the door to the cabin after traveling all day to a bottle of wine and a friendly note! That was such an unexpected, lovely touch! We stayed there at the beginning of October. The lake was right there, with all the trees changing color, it was picturesque. They have everything you want to enjoy it, kayaks, a screened in porch with a hammock, and a deck outside with chairs. There were a couple things that could have made it better, dish rags in the kitchen, washcloths for the bathroom, and the outlets in the ground bedroom didn’t work. Other than that, it was amazing and we will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and unique cabin, this is it! From the spiral staircase to the retro frig and the use of commercial kitchen countertops throughout, every detail was considered in this renovation. What a peaceful pond. Check-in was a breeze. The property itself is at the end of an extremely private road. The cabin is clean, the deck and screened in porch offered extreme relaxation, the kitchen and grill had all the amenities expected. We brought our own kayaks, but the property offered several kayaks, canoes and floating devices. Short drive to Lincolnville and Camden. And a lovely little gourmet market just up the road. Exactly as described, no surprises. Thank you for such a relaxing and enjoyable start to our trip up the coast.

A fun place to stay for a few nights as we journeyed up and down the coast for a couple of weeks -- gorgeous view from the very comfortable, breezy screened-in porch. The kitchen setup might be a tad too rustic for some, but has everything you need, and do be aware that the main sleeping spot is in the loft, requiring careful navigation of the spiral stairs if you need to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night. The interior is clearly dog-friendly, even though we don't have a dog; the place is clean, but the dog-allergic one of us required a Zyrtec after 20 minutes spent on the sofa. (The cute culprits are immortalized in two paintings on the wall, lol. No big deal, just be aware in case you're allergic.) Overall a great experience. Thanks.

Fantastic location. Private and beautiful. Not too far from Camden and Rockport. It was too cold to be on the water but hope to come again for canoeing.

Excellent private, quiet retreat for a grandma to paint, draw and read. The shower was amazing. There's not a full stove and oven but I didn't go there too cook. The views are beautiful, the covered porch was a bonus since it rained the entire time. Which i enjoyed immensely.

This was our second stay at the cottage in just 3 months. This is such a peaceful setting in any season. We were able to sit out on the screened in porch for breakfast and early evening cocktails-watching the light move over the trees and the colorful leaves. The loons had moved on but we were treated to the call of songbirds and the drops of the acorns from the trees! We're looking forward to returning for a winter stay! Thank you.

The views of the private lake were wonderful. We enjoyed the deck and screen room very much. Overall the cabin was comfortable. The second story bedroom was with its own challenges, specifically due to the narrow spiral staircase and the resulting inability to bring luggage upstairs. Additionally, the property is in dire need of outdoor lighting for safety purposes. Because the bathroom floor tends to be slippery when wet, a grab bar inside the shower and another near the toilet would enhance bathroom safety. Finally, a newer and larger coffee pot would be great for us coffee lovers! That said, we had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the rustic setting. Thank you.

Great little place put they ask you to take all of your trash with you which is unheard of. For this reason, I will not stay here again.

Clean, compact cabin. Comfortable inside and out. Beautiful view, with great screen porch; water activity w canoe and shallow swimming. Close to Belfast, Camden, Rockland & Midcoast Maine generally for more “action”, with the peaceful respite of life by the pond to go home to. And yes! Loons!

We stayed for 3 nights at the lakeside cottage and wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage is just as depicted by photos and described by narrative-we were surrounded by nature in peace and tranquility. The deck is amazing. We watched an eagle, a beaver, several loons and plenty of jumping fish...all so at home in the pond. The kayak was wonderful...an early morning paddle when the pond is waking up. Inside the cottage is so comfortable and cozy...there's even a hammock on the inside porch. Kitchen was so well stocked. We did not need anything! We do need to return and we will do our best! Thank you!
