Stayed Aug 28, 2025Beautiful spot, right on the lake! Listening to the water lap the rocks around the dock and the loons’ calls was so relaxing. Easy access to restaurants and shops, with so many goodies to be found. Great activities in the area and you return to this quaint cabin to enjoy the lake and breathtaking sunsets. Highly recommend!!

Stayed Jul 14, 2025Was happy with the house layout, the porch area and the location. I was not happy that none of the windows in the house would open making a house without air conditioning hotter than what it needed to be…very uncomfortable at times.

Stayed Aug 4, 2024Overall a very comfortable home, with lots of character, and beautiful and private waterfront lot. The second we walked through the door, it smelled perfectly like the old cedar cottqges from our childhood and we were transported to the good old days. We only had two complaints, otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to book the same cottage again next time. 1. The bunk bed mattress was a tad lumpy, and 2. we were unaware that a train travels through Greenville and the sound does travel across the water pretty well. We got used to the daily train, but the first night we were there, we were awakened at 1am by the train horn blowing on and off for ten to fifteen min straight. We are assuming there was perhaps a moose on the tracks...? Fortunately that was not the norm and the rest of the week it made its daily trip through town and we barely noticed it.
