The house perfectly setup for 5 adults and had everything we needed. Outdoor space was fantastic! Patio overlooking the lake and mountains with a great yard down to lake to lounge and play. Easy access to get back into town or head over to Galbraith to do some awesome mountain biking!!

This property was absolutely delightful! Very relaxing, comfortable & fun kayaking! Kitchen was well equipped & beds comfortable. Nice outside seating available. The only improvement would be to check the dishes & silverware as some were found in cupboards & drawers to still have food on them when we arrived. Thank you for the delightful stay for our family.

We really appreciated early access to the property being offered. Some Pro's of the cabin: - location was close to groceries and parks for bike riding and trail walks, it was also close to the beach at B. D, which is were we spent a lot of our days - bedding and linens were clean and the beds were comfortable - Had a smart tv, which we used when the weather was bad - They left toiletries which was very nice - Beach towels were provided - Had a dishwasher However, considering that travel is resuming after 2 years of pandemic, the cleanliness of the property left something to be desired. I ended up purchasing some cleaning supplies and wiping down the bathrooms, front entry walls, railing, fridge, kitchen walls and light switches, and spraying a fabric sanitizer on the furniture/carpet. We also ended up descaling the Keurig coffee maker, it was dirty, so I gave it a thorough scrubbing and washed out the water tray. The carpeted stairs/areas are quite stained. There were several squished bugs on the walls that were just left. The ceiling fans, molding, shower tops and ceilings throughout had cobwebs and massive amounts of dust. Some I actually left, because I just didn't feel it was my responsibility. The upstairs toilet seat is broken, so it slides to the side whenever you sit down, which gave me a nasty pinch. Bathroom fans did not work in either bathroom. All of that aside, because yes, sometimes lake front cabins can be rustic we were disappointed that the children's play set (pictured) was covered in moss/spiderwebs and appeared to have not been maintained in some time. I did my best to clean the swings and slide. We had specifically looked at this property because our three year old son is very active and loves the outdoors - so having the play set was a huge asset. We also had some issues with the geese - which is NOT the property owners fault, but it would have been awesome to have access to a rake to keep the poop off the lawn and dock. The lawn essentially became a giant poop field every day, and we didn't want to keep calling them for removal. The neighbor next door seemed polite, but also appeared to be intoxicated most of the time, again, NOT the owners fault but it did make us uncomfortable, so it should be noted for anyone with young kids. Overall, if this cabin was like the pictures it would have felt fairly priced. It feels like the pictures were from a long time ago. We did leave a night early.
