The place was clean and there were delightful chocolates and even a bottle of wine waiting for us. The view of Lake Tahoe from the front windows was spectacular! Overall we were comfortable, the property is close to everything and we had a wonderful weekend. We would absolutely stay here again.

We've stayed at this property before, and enjoyed it just as much this time; it's perfect for the two of us. It's clean, well stocked and comfortable, and it's not a very long ride to Northstar. It's also a short walk or drive into townh. We'd stay here again and recommend!

This cabin was awesome. Super cute, extremely clean, comfortable furniture and a comfy bed. The little extras like nice soap in bathroom shower, luxurious towels, cute fireplace, a well stocked kitchen and nice deck to enjoy the sunsets made our stay even better than we expected.

We had a wonderful Summer stay. Easy walk into town for ice cream and beach. Kings Beach was pretty busy in the Summer but there are several easily accessible from this location. The host provided several types of water toys and games. Great views and hiking as well. Thanks so much for memories!

Everything about our stay was EXCELLENT! We appreciated the binder the owners provided with info on local activities. The house is spotlessly clean. The towels are soft. The beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch so much! We loved the quietness of the street. I walked along the street and also the trail behind the house almost daily, and enjoyed the weather and beauty around me. The kitchen was stocked so well that we didn’t even have to provide our own seasonings. Bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner and soap, as well as hair dryer and flat iron. Loved that we were so close to activities like parasailing on the beach, and local restaurants. It did get alittle warm because of no a/c, but the fans provided did help. I highly recommend this lovely cabin. We plan to return to Lake Tahoe/Kings Beach and will definitely book only here! Loved it so much!!

We had a great time here, it is in a great area that’s out of the way but also within walking distance of many King’s Beach businesses and attractions. The cabin itself was very clean and inviting, with all of the comforts of home (and then some). I would definitely recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

This is a lovely A-frame cabin on a quiet, forested street. The house backs up to the mountainside, so no rear neighbors. There is filtered lake view from the front windows of both upstairs and downstairs. The house is nicely furnished and we were very comfortable.

To start with, location, location, location! Off the beaten path, up on the side of the mountain, tucked in the pines, with AMAZING views of Lake Tahoe. The cabin is cozy, like a cabin should be. We loved the perfect mix of rustic with just enough modern convenience. The exposed wood beam ceilings and the fireplace had us wanting to stay in, relax and sip warm beverages or a glass of wine. The modern convenience of a gas fireplace eliminates the inconvenience of having to add logs to the fire. A nicely stocked library of DVDs was a nice touch in addition to the Roku TV for entertainment. The washer & dryer kept us from bringing home our dirty laundry. We stayed in and enjoyed some meals courtesy of the well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable and cozy, especially with the fleece sheets for winter. During our stay, we even took the sleds over to the local park for some sledding. The hosts were very responsive to questions and requests. Check-in was super easy as well. Clear instructions were provided for how to operate items within the cabin. The amenities were well thought out and very much appreciated. We chose this cabin primarily based on the photos and were amazed to see them come to life when we arrived. We couldn't have been any more pleased with how our stay turned out. We have been talking about possibly visiting Lake Tahoe in the summer and of course we would rent here again. Tahoe is now a favorite winter destination, because of this stay.

Had a wonderful trip that included skiing and not much else! Cabin was perfect for our family of four that included 13 and 14 year old boys. Cabin was spacious and had everything we needed to make our own meals. Views of Lake Tahoe from both floors. A lot of open forest land behind the cabin so we did a little sledding with the sleds that were in the locked shed. We would have done more sledding if there had been more snow. It was nice to have access to the shed to lock up our skis. Book this place, you will not regret it!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. Great location and great views from the porch. The cabin had everything we could possibly need. It was super clean and cozy. We enjoyed all the games provided and spent most nights by the fireplace having family game night. Behind the cabin was wooded and private. We even did some sledding there. We would love to stay here again.

Since this property was our cabin for 22 years, I absolutely give the owners an A++. The cabin has a terrific lake view which is not accurately captured in photos. The sunsets are glorious. Great new washer and dryer. The only sad thing is that Kings Beach is really struggling after COVID. The population has diminished by half. Good standbys are still around Lanza’s Italian restaurant is still open after 50 years. Safeway for shopping remains great. There is no longer Rite-Aid or any drugstore. The beach remains wonderful. The only casino now open is Crystal Bay and the small Nugget. Tahoe Biltmore all boarded. Would we still stay on North Shore vs. South Shore-absolutely. South Shore remains hopping and busy. Back to cabin, you would really enjoy your stay there.

The house was clean and comfortable, just as described in listing. The location to everything was lovely. The only negative comment I would mention is that there is an odd smell in the kitchen/bathroom. It smells as though there may be mold or water damage. When we arrived windows were open and fans were on. We did not feel comfortable sleeping with windows open. There were quite a few spiders in the kitchen, so if you are scared of spiders- just a heads up. (To be expected in the woods?)

Hiking trails start behind the house. Denise is so easy to work with and has pretty much thought of everything. We will be back for a 4th stay.
