Stayed Aug 7, 2025Historic cabin living. Great way to get away from the internet to fish, boat, paddle board, do family walks, and play chess. Perfect location and connection to both Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain while on the private water front property. Our host, David was responsive and informative. Stayed Jul 11, 2024Thank you we had a great time. Weather was perfect. Food was great family priceless only small detail if two of the rooms had queen beds would that would be great. We will be back.

Stayed Aug 28, 2023If you want the quintessential old cabin in the mountains, this is your place. The views are spectacular. It is quite rustic, but clean and wonderful just as it is. Sure a larger bathtub would be nice, but there is a shower which is just fine. You have access to a dock and there is space above the dock to be even closer to the views and lake. David is great to work with and gets in touch quickly. This is our third time staying here, and won't be the last.

Stayed May 26, 2023Our family loves Grand Lake and we stay here any chance we get. We loved Whispering Pine’s and it’s location, charm and proximity to the water and town. Communication with David was excellent! Will definitely stay again.

Stayed Aug 21, 2022We had a very nice stay here. It's certainly an older house, so don't expect tons of modern comforts, but it's got all the amenities you could want to make for a nice, relaxing time by Grand Lake. One useful note: while the house doesn't have internet, both Verizon and T-Mobile signals were good enough to be usable.
