What an experience! Iconic for the history, the view, and from the show. Everyone was so welcoming and happy to have us. The property is amazing, the views are hard to look away from. I can’t recommend enough for lovers of the show or not!

This was really fun for our family. My 4 year old had a hard time with the out house but somewhat expected. Very peaceful and beautiful. Wish we would have had a 4 wheeler and could have explored more.

We absolutely loved our stay, every minute of it. The Barn was rustic as told and we loved the view from the outside building. The homestead views we saw... there are no words to describe them. It filled my heart with joy and instantly put me at peace, absolutely beautiful even when the clouds rolled in. We were only able to stay one night so we tried to pack in as much of the scenery as we could. We took the lovely walk down to the beach and did some exploring. The walk back up truely shows how out of shape you are in or not. We were super excited to meet some of the family including Otto. What a fun family they are! Thank you to you all for taking the time out of your busy schedules to meet and talk with us. We loved it and hope we can go back another time and for more than one night. The hosts, Kelli and Stellavera were very communicative and answered all my questions in a timely manner. They made sure we had what we needed to arrive and check-in with no issues. It was also a wonderful drive there and back from Anchorage. We were very fortunate to see Mt Denali in all her glory.

House is authentic log homes that perhaps generations have enjoyed. The view of the Bay and the grounds were the best part of this stay.

Good time

Our stay at the Kilcher Homestead was magical!! The views are spectacular in every direction! Kelli, Shane and Otto are such cool, down-to-Earth people who work very hard on the homestead but took time out of their busy schedules to make us feel welcome! This was by far our best Anniversary vacation ever! We will definitely stay with them again!!

I will definitely have a return stay. Kelli Kilcher was beyond nice. Wandering around the homestead was very relaxing. I’m from Florida, so going to Alaska to be one with nature was just what I needed to slow things down a bit and recharge my battery.
