Super warm and inviting. Very private and quiet. You can tell that the owners are down to earth and real good people. Even had resident deer to watch!!!

The home was very well maintained and had a lot of nice touches that made the stay very comfortable. They had a lot of kitchen equipment and utensils to make cooking a breeze. It was well stocked with spices so no need to buy a lot at the grocery store. We enjoyed the hot tub. Everything about this place was perfect. The beds were comfortable. The location was stunning. You will not be disappointed.

We loved the property location and view. The cabin really needs a good cleaning from one end to the other. It was clean enough to stay. Also if I ever stayed there again I would bring my leaf blower to clean off the deck of leaves/acorns/spider webs. The outside grass could use a mowing also. I would recommend considering a dishwasher and some type of TV service to allow viewing more routine channels. That all being said I would stay again.

The cabin is secluded enough for privacy, but close enough to town. Accurate listing, clean and has everything you need. The hosts responded in a timely manner and sent a video showing the actual drive up to the road. Highly suggest you use it. We watched it but still missed the turn using just the GPS. We went to take our grandson to the Polar Express. Which was about a 15 min drive into town.

Nice place loved the area could definitely use some updating to the cabin didn't notice it anywhere in the description but there was only 1 TV its in the living room, really would be nice to have a extra one maybe in the kids bedrooms at least for nightime so just a heads up on that and the outdoor waterfall deffinity could use some attention. But definitely overall a very cool place and worth checking out loved the trails that come with it views are great and definitely secluded would definitely stay again !

We enjoyed our stay at this property. There were two adult couples and two dogs. The huge, partially covered back patio was our favorite place to be: enjoyed watching both the rain and the sunshine equally. It is surrounded by railing with a gate on each end, perfect for allowing the dogs to enjoy the stay with us. Clean and easy to find things. The provided outdoor grill looked new. It is a short, twisty ride to get to downtown Bryson City, doable even with heavy street motorcycles: there is only a short stretch of gravel. You do not need four wheel drive to get there. We had a temporary problem with the door lock later in our visit that was resolved via communications with the owner. We didn't need internet access, but measured sustained download speeds averaging 2.5mbps. For example, the provided smart TV could render streaming video, there were pauses at times, overall ok. Cell reception was reasonable: 2 bars (average -106db signal if you understand radio frequency engineering) Room for improvement: The property sits atop a ridge line and uses a water pump - it is noticeable when running water or taking a shower. We had some periodic issues getting a steady stream of hot water for the shower. It is best to make sure no one else uses the water while you are trying to shower. The overhead fans in the bedrooms produce an annoying electronic noise. We would happily stay here again. Owners were great, good communication.

Ken’s Secluded Cabin was cozy, comfortable & well decorated. The owners were responsive to our needs whenever issues arose. The area is private & it’s a great place for bringing your dog(s). The outdoor patio is spacious with a pretty view of the mountains. The couch & beds are very comfortable & the place inside was very clean. I would stay here again but probably not at the same price per night. I did really appreciate bringing my dogs & that is a huge plus. The neighbors are very nice & there are many friendly dogs that visit! I mean what an awesome experience to have friendly dogs come by & visit! We loved that! It is closer to everything even though at first the curvy mountain seems to be further but after a trip or two it’s a breeze. The only issue with the price is that I expected the outside to look better as it does in the pictures. This is because it needs some outdoor TLC. VRBO should be updated with new pictures of the outside. The kitchen pots & pans need replaced & the outdoor grill worked but had a lot of build up underneath & the grill door needs repaired. Also, the water pressure is not great here. It wasn’t a huge problem though because that’s the nature of being in the mountains. I think if the owners were to give the outside more TLC, this place would be one of my favorite locations in the area. I believe they plan to do so soon & if that happens, we will definitely be back again! Overall, this was a fun place for family including dogs! :)

My husband and I invited our children and their spouses to join us on a much needed vacation. We loved the cabin as soon as we drove up. It was beautiful inside and out. I think it was one of the cleanest vacation home we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed the view from the porch, the drive up the mountain was beautiful, the silence was peaceful. We enjoyed it so much we didn’t go sightseeing but two days, we had true family time playing games, watching movies, drinking coffee, relaxing and enjoying each others company. If I ever have a chance to visit again my home away from home is where I will be. Gloria M
