Stayed Jul 14, 2025Location of property was great. Close to attractions & hiking trails in the area. If you are planning to cook meals onsite may want to bring your own pots & pans. There were 2 12 inch fry pans & 1 sauce pan, & 1 glass cake pan. Not really enough to cook a full meal. Oven was dirty. Owner was notified of oven condition upon check out. If not going to be cooking won't be a problem. Did not use hot tub so cannot speak to it.

Stayed Jun 23, 2025Check in was supposed to be open to 8 pm but they were closed by 5 pm and poor Internet/cell made it difficult to call them or learn how to pick up the key. There was Wi-Fi in the cabin but it was VERY intermittent. Have all of your information printed out in advance. The cabin had a strong mildew smell, especially in the lower level.

Stayed Apr 7, 2025We enjoyed The Bear Cub Cabin! Perfect location, clean, and comfortable! It was great relaxing in the hot tub after hiking all day. My teenage boys loved the pool table.

Stayed Oct 18, 2024Cookware in horrible shape. No flat sheet or pillow cases. Bedding worn with holes in it.Beds were uncomfortable. One bed had springs you could feel poking your body. Another bed was foam and with two people it was like sleeping in a hot bowl. We had 3 couples in our group and there were not enough towels. Only one working smoke detector in the whole place, located in an upstairs bedroom. Guess they figured it wasn't needed because the fireplace didn't work. Carpet in bad shape with exposed tack strip. Great location. Water pressure and hot tub were actually very nice. That being said, this place was not even close to worth what we paid for it.

Stayed Oct 4, 2024Location was great, but it was clear that there was a mouse problem. The cabin didn’t seem clean at all and the kitchen was not well equipped with even the basics to cook with, the oven and burners both smelled bad when trying to use them, I found later it was bc of mouse poop
