We had stayed here previously in May of 2021. Michelle was a wonderful host. An initial hot tub issue when we arrived was quickly addressed and fixed. The house is much larger than what a family of 3 requires, but it is so beautiful and quiet, that we just had to stay again. The convenience of having a washer and dryer is awesome. No laundry to do when I return home. Twice, we were visited by mule deer on the property. Hope we can stay again.
We loved our time here. It was a packed week of sightseeing, hiking, horseback riding and relaxing with family. The cabin was the perfect home base after a long day. Thank you, Michelle, for being a wonderful host!
The house was a great place to stay, lots of space for 8 people to rest and relax on our Yellowstone trip. The view from the front windows was beautiful. The owners were very helpful with the questions we had.
Beautiful cabin, even the view was breathtaking. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed and wanted. Great location, close to all the trails…..far enough away that it was peaceful. We used the hot tub, grill and fire pit and all were great. We will b back next year for sure.
This place is absolutely wonderful, along with the hosts and the area! We loved being able to snowmobile right from the front door, and the quiet open property. Highly recommend!
The cabin had tons of space to spread out, lots of games to keep everyone entertained, and was close to trails for snowmobiling. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and appliances. It had everything we needed (except a 9×13 baking dish). We were very pleased with our stay.
Kantada in the Trees was a perfect place for our family’s (ages 59 through age 1) Yellowstone vacation! Large home with plenty of room to spread out indoors and outdoors. Impeccably clean and with well thought out amenities. Loved the bear and elk decor, kitchen supplies, hot tub towels, port-a-crib, cooler, large insulated lunch bag, X-box and games, Disney + and Netflix, games, gas fireplace, gas grill, picnic table, and fire pit (unfortunately we couldn’t use the fire pit for s’mores due to a county burn ban but they even had metal marshmallow sticks/holders). Awesome hot tub for our achy muscles after hiking. Gorgeous views too! Just 35 miles from the West Yellowstone entrance. Robin’s Roost grocery store was very convenient for last minute supplies. Gas station, liquor store, and bank nearby too. Last couple of miles to the home is a well-packed gravel road that was easy to drive. Be sure and check out the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. The animals are amazing and it has a great gift shop. Only suggestions would be to supply a baby gate for the stairs and add mirrors to the downstairs bedrooms who share a common bathroom. We had a fabulous time making memories here and you will too!
Communication was A+. The house has everything you could need. Views were beautiful!! Beds super comfy!
This place was better than expected. I feel like the pictures didn't do it justice. It was very clean and a beautiful location. No close neighbors. It was quiet and relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed. I will say remember to bring your own toilet paper, laundry soap, and garbage bags because not much is provided. There are 3 camp chairs provided but if you have more people with you I would recommend bringing more to enjoy the outdoors and fire pit. The horses that ride through the property are a huge bonus. We looked forward to seeing them every morning and evening. They even hung out around the house for a minute the first day. They were fun to watch. It was 30 to 40 ish minutes to West Yellowstone entrance. That was a little bit of a down fall considering you have to drive all day in the park also. But really wasn't to bad. Over all great place and very relaxing. I would definitely stay again and recommend others.
Awesome location, and a great hot tub. Main level beds/bedrooms were very comfortable. Nice kitchen and good selection of appliances. Remote enough to have privacy too, tucked into the trees. Amazing views. Loft had a great, large bathroom, steam shower was great bonus ?? Only downside was loft beds were not very comfortable, could use new mattresses in queen beds. One had flannel sheets, which is terrible for summertime. Loft area gets really hot and there are no curtains or blinds which makes it even hotter. Loft beds did not have nice sheets like the bedrooms did. That was disappointing. The living area in loft is beautiful, it just needs some bed/bedding upgrades to match rest of house. I've also never been asked to strip sheets off all beds and wash and dry beach towels. I would expect the $250 cleaning fee to cover all of that. Overall it's a great cabin if you're sleeping in one of the bedrooms. Nice big open area for your family to gather for meals and games or whatever. The host is also very responsive, which I appreciated. We really enjoyed our visit.
It was a peaceful setting to relax after days at Yellowstone. The horse trails next door were a fun adventure. The cabin was beautiful and well stocked with games, bedding, and the hot tub was a nice way to end the day.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. The set up was perfect! 2 bedrooms for the adults on the main floor and a loft with multiple beds for the kids upstairs! One thing to note would be the gorgeous amount of natural light from all the windows - we have a bit of a love/hate with that because it meant late bedtimes and early mornings for the kids with so much light. The only shades are in the main floor bedrooms (we hung a fitted sheet over the window in the upstairs bathroom - a shade or curtain is definitely needed in this space). Other than that, we loved every bit of it!
The cabin was beautiful, quiet and had everything we needed for a week. We had 7 adults and 1 child. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and silverware. We loved relaxing in the hot tub which I was a bit worried it would be too far from the cabin, based on the pictures, but it wasn’t at all. The grill was the perfect size for the eight of us. We had deer visit us on the property, had the horses, from the riding stable run through every morning and afternoon and best of all saw a bald eagle just down the fence row from the cabin. I also need to mention how quickly Michelle was there to answer all of my questions, I’m talking within minutes. Not only before we checked in, but even after we arrived, she was ‘Johnny on the spot’ when we had questions. One last kudos, I was afraid of road noise, not at this property. The windows are like 1/2 thick and unless you had a window open, you never heard the cars and trucks outside.
It was clean, beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. Thank you!
Would definitely choose this house again.
We had a great stay. Beautiful home, location. Communication was great. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Great home!!! We enjoyed the horseback ride at the neighbor's ranch and our hiking in Yellowstone. Highly recommend this home rental!
My husband and I recently stayed with our girls (ages 15 & 18) at this property for our Yellowstone vacation. You're always a little apprehensive when booking a place online, especially for an area you've never visited before, but we truly could not have been happier. It was extremely clean and spacious. Our girls enjoyed having the whole loft to themselves to spread out. The front room is where we would relax after a long day at the park. It was so comfortable and the view out the huge window (with the Tetons in the distance) was incredible. We liked the location because we were out of the hustle of West Yellowstone but only 40 minutes or so from the park entrance. We got an early start each day to beat the crowds at the gate. Because we started so early, we were able to leave the park by late afternoon and unwind in the hot tub (totally clean!) and relive the day's events and sights. Michelle was so easy to work with and answered all my questions promptly. We appreciated her recommended hikes and activities. We would not hesitate to stay here again!
