Are you in search of an authentic mountain experience If so, this all-wood Ellijay cabin is for you. This spacious abode is ideal for a memorable getaway amid the stunning North Georgia Mountains!

Located on Briar Creek Road, across a covered bridge, and along a winding river road, this cabin willgive you plenty of room to breathe and relax. Blue Ridge is just minutes away and abounds with exciting shops, quality restaurants, seasonal art shows, and theater. With the southern foot of the Appalachians as your backyard, you can try some of the country's best hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, zip-lining, white water rafting, tubing, kayaking, and other fun water activities. You could even try sky-diving, hang-gliding, rock climbing, spelunking, and other high-adventure sports. If you'd prefer a quieter excursion, pick apples or peaches at an orchard, visit historical sites, play golf, or relax at the spa. With this cabin's central location, you'll have tons of nature at your fingertips! Grab your camera for some shots of the mountains or tree-lined landscape. If you're visiting in autumn, try to catch the Georgia Apple Festival, a large celebration with crafts, live music, and - you guessed it - apples. Neighboring Ellijay is also renowned for its stunning fall foliage. Summer is also a great time to visit, and it begs you to get out and explore Georgia's scenery.

When you enter this cabin, you'll notice its lovely woodwork and vaulted ceilings. The living room boasts a smart TV with Netflix streaming and Pandora. You'll also find a selection of games and DVDs, along with free WiFi. Prepare favorite meals in the open kitchen, which includes coffee makers, rice maker, crockpot, and blender. While you can enjoy dinner at a small dining table nearby, you can also venture outside to the front porch, where there is plenty of space for everyone.

Rock in a chair for a while on the covered deck, taking in the beautiful woods and wildflowers, watch the deer graze at dusk as the sun sets, or relax curled up in the rocking recliner with a glass of local wine or a cup of tea and a good book. This property also includes a firepit and comfortable wooden chairs by the creek right down the road, an ideal setting for enjoying the natural surroundings with someone you love. Once the trees lose their foliage for winter, you can even enjoy mountain views from home. You could spend your whole vacation snuggled up in this cozy cabin!

A double futon in the living area offers additional sleeping space, and a private washer/dryer lets you take care of laundry.

Amenities need to be updated (working coffee machine, more appropriate utensils, and instructions to use oven). It felt like we weren’t allowed access to the outdoor lighting, which is crucial if you’re going outside in the dark. TV remotes weren’t working even after changing batteries. Needs dish washing utensils such as a drying rack, a drying rack pad, and more soap/dish scrubbing utensils.

Really well decorated cabin, it was cleaned early and well, communicated check in/out information well.On the other hand, the cabin did not have functioning outside lights, so using the grill was in the dark, the firepit area was unclear, (no signage around the cabin), and was much further than one would reasonable expect it to be, (like in the area you would think it was another cabin's land), and the firepit bench was covered in ages of moss and growth, the firepit was a small metal one, which was full of ash and growth (almost to the point of not being able to put wood into), the refrigerator's bottom bucket holding bracket was broken, the parking area is super slippery when wet and likely would not fit 2 cars, and there were restrictions of how warm you could have the cabin (no more than 71⁰F). Not the best, not the worst, but a reasonable cabin for the price.

Home was clean and lights were on for us which was a plus since we arrived very late. Complaints were the listing did not say gravel moutain road to cabin on the listing. Also the HAVC went out and came back on several hours later. Kerig coffe pot does not work. Overall it was a good stay.

All of the bedding was dirty & had to be washed. Not sure if it’s because it hadn’t been used in so long or just not washed. Numerous plates were dirty & coffee pot had mold in it. Over all not happy about the stay.

I stayed with my husband and two young children. We had so much fun hanging out by the creek, the cabin looked exactly like the pictures, and we saw many deer throughout dusk. The location is perfect, and I look forward to staying in summer to enjoy the creek even more.

We absolutely loved the location of this house. It was literally in the middle of NOWHERE which was wonderful. We really enjoyed the creek but the description is a little deceptive. You can’t see it from the house & it’s a short hike down to get there. We saw deer right off the porch & they werent scared or anything; we also got some corn for them: it was pretty nice. Beds are pretty comfortable. Water would NOT stay warm in the shower longer than 5 minutes which was a little stressful with babies. Thermostat kept resetting to 52 degree which was annoying. My absolute BIGGEST COMPLAINT was that the door is super hard to work. We literally got locked out and were stuck with our 3 kids in 40 degree weather til they got back with us which took about 20 minutes.

My husband a lad I along with our two children loved this property. They had everything we needed to have a relaxing time. The kids enjoyed walking down to the creek and seeing all of the wildlife wandering around. The cabin in very close to downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge so that left plenty of time for easy day time adventures. I highly recommend!

Me and fiancé booked this cabin for my dad’s 50th birthday. Before we booked the cabin we chatted with a member for Vacasa to let them know my wife has a service dog , they told us it would be fine upon checking in we instantly received a call advising we had to remove the dog or leave because it was seen on the camera , we had to call Vacasa to get the situation resolved however we felt extremely uncomfortable our entire stay as we now felt like we were being watched on the cameras. The pictures are also misleading , the fire pit isn’t at the cabin it about a half a mile a walk. The water had a very bad smell when we ran the shower. Overall it was an okay stay but due to the lack of communication we just felt completely uncomfortable. My fiancé was worried the entire time about her service dog.
