We found the place a bit dated, stair railing was shaky and balcony felt a little unsafe in places. But overall it worked well for our family. We had the space we needed. Big plus was clean bathrooms in each bedroom. One of the bedrooms needed better lighting and one bedroom badly needed the broken blinds in the door replaced. We slept well and ate well the time we were there. We spent most of our time down in the valley. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. A few tweaks would go a long way In this unit but no biggie negatives.

I booked this property because we were wanting to stay inside the park and a lot of properties looked older and run down but pictures of this property made it appear cleaner and nicer and pool table for kids to play on. When we arrived we walked in and immediately noticed it was dingy, not very clean, holes in walls, tile under sink falling off, and AC did not work so they had a huge portable unit in there. The AC return vent was caked over and looked like hadn’t been cleaned in years! It was late at night and we were tired and had been in place maybe 10 minutes when our son comes into our room saying he just saw a rat run past his feet while in bathroom! We were freaked out! My husband found rat and killed it but it was too late at night to find another place so we contacted owners we would NOT be staying another night and please refund us. They said they would and apologized but never refunded us. We found a really nice place -Groveland Hotel- next day and stayed the rest of our stay there. We ended up having to issue a charge back with our cc company. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PROPERTY! Do not recommend.

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. The property is in a fantastic location to explore Yosemite, and we instantly felt comfortable and at home. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms was an incredible luxury for a family of 5, including 3 teenagers. We were never in each other's way. It was great. The property is stocked with everything we needed. So grateful for that - even coffee filters so we didn't have to worry about getting caffeinated our first morning! We found the Wi-Fi perfect. No complaints at all - had great connection. We didn't stream any videos or anything. Got to catch a gorgeous meteor shower our first night. It's hard to beat that for a start! We definitely plan to return!

I booked 3 bedroom prime property in Yosemite West. I was sent by the owner to a 2 bedroom run down property with safety issues 15 miles away at the south end of Yosemite NP. Owner - Wendy has offered no refund, no apologies and was extremely rude.

We stayed here while visiting Yosemite State Park. It's a 30mins drive from Yosemite Valley and you don't have to leave the park at all once you're there. The scenery was beautiful off the front porch with views of the valley, sunrise/sunset, & redwoods no 50ft from the house. Lots of fans so it was never too hot, even when we visited in late June/early July. Lots of room & decent internet, not perfect.

Below is a timeline of events: Sep 20: We arrived at the property around 7:30pm. Upon entering the property, we quickly realized that it was already occupied. (Shoes/Duffle Bags/Fresh Groceries/Unmade Beds) We called the owner, who confirmed that we were the ones with the reservation. She didn't know who was staying in the house. (We are wondering if someone was squatting as the passcode numbers were worn off of the keypad and could have been easily guessed) She directed us to stay in a house about a mile away. I agreed, and told her I would call her to confirm if the new house worked. After checking out the new house I called multiple times with no response. I'm not sure what we would have done if we hadn't been able to get in. She texted later that evening saying she would call the next day, but she never did. The new house was similar to the house we reserved, but was not prepared. We had to wash our own bedding and towels and make our beds. We also had to clean the kitchen and bathrooms as they clearly hadn't been cleaned since the last renters stayed. Sep 24: I called the owner on our trip home to discuss what had happened. She still didn't know who was staying in the house we reserved. We agreed that it would be fair for her to refund the first night and the cleaning fee. She said she would email me on Sep 27 with details. She did not. Sep 28: I called her back to follow up on our agreement. I had to remind her who I was/why I was calling/what we had agreed to. She asked me to call back the next day. Sep 29: I call back and again have to remind her who I was/why I was calling/what we had agreed to. She said she would process the refund and that it would show up on our credit card within 7 business days. It never did. Oct 13: I call again to follow up on the refund. I again have to remind her who I was/why I was calling/what we had agreed to. She says she will process the refund the next day. Oct 15: I text her to confirm that the refund has been processed with no response. Oct 18: I text her to confirm that the refund has been processed with no response. Oct 19: I call to confirm that the refund was processed with no answer. I call from my wife's phone, and get an answer immediately. Upon hearing who was calling she said that now was a bad time and hung up. I texted her saying that if I didn't hear from her in the next two days that I would be detailing our interactions in a review. I never heard from her again.

We could fit all of our group in one house. Being in the park we avoided the daily long line to get in. Great front deck.

We enjoyed our stay in Yosemite West. It was nice to be inside the park. It was a 35-40 min drive to the valley floor but a beautiful drive there. There was a problem with the heat (we had none!) but they fixed it while we are at the park on a Sunday. We appreciate their quick response. Each bedroom had a small portable heater which was helpful. The house is up two flights of stairs. Nice neighborhood and a friendly neighborhood cat said hello to us several times. The main issue is the WiFi. It connected but didn't work. While I do not mind unplugging, it was impossible for people to do school work and we booked this place because it had wifi. No streaming of videos and emails didn't go out until we got to Tunnel View. Verizon had a very slight signal. There is a DVD player, so bring DVDs. However, the house was in good condition. The fireplace and pool table were nice additions.
