We thoroughly enjoyed our peace and quiet at the cabin. It was very well stocked with an assortment of coffee to please all. Very nicely decorated. The home was very clean. The covered deck outside was a nice attribute. The host was very accommodating, and answered qiuckly to answer any questions. Our only desire would be to have more time to spend here. Would definitely recommend this cabin, and would stay here again.
Very nice, clean cabin that looks somewhat rustic but with all the modern amenities. Loved the large porch area with the outdoor fireplace. Cabin is located close to the PCT, a nordic trail system as well as Hyatt Lake and Howard Prairie for a variety of outdoor adventures. Host was excellent to respond to any requests or questions we had.
Everything about our stay was excellent here. This was a great location for all outdoor activities. We especially liked the access for biking and hiking. The facility itself is beautiful and very clean. The gas fire table, darts, grill on the front deck, made for a great gathering place! The insides are wonderful too. We will be back and thank you to the property manager for being so hospitable and attentive.
We have stayed at many cabins in our travels and this was, by far, the best. It is well laid out, has a great kitchen, it is stocked with everything you will need and it is in great shape. There are plenty of cooking utensils, spices, etc. We didn’t lack anything. The cabin is on a small property between two other cabins and right off the road. I’m a big fan of complete privacy so I was a bit concerned by this. But, there was almost no traffic on the road, no one was every at the one cabin and an older man was at the other cabin but he was quiet so we barely knew he was there. There outdoor area is very nice with a beautiful porch with a couch, chairs and a propane fire table. There is a very nice grill and darts and horseshoes outside too. We went swimming at Howard Prairie and Hyatt Prairie lakes. They are both a bit rough because the low water levels means it can be rocky and muddy leading up to the water. I would recommend going to Hyatt Prairie. We found a decent spot in one of the campgrounds. We stayed here for a week and were sad to leave. We would come back in a heartbeat.
This property is gorgeous. Woods with open groves bursting with wildflowers. The home is a wonderful mix of earthy and industrial. Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. I have never stayed in a home with a more well stocked coffee/tea/cocoa bar. We enjoyed horseshoes, darts, propane fire pit and games. What a wonderful get away, thank you!!
We had a wonderful time. Peaceful surroundings, beautiful scenery, lots of deer and several lakes nearby.
Easy access. Great little hideaway in the beautiful cascades. Quality throughout. Comfortable beds. Everything you need for a sweet getaway.
Great little cabin Excellent!
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Prairie Mountain Cabin! We snow-shoed out the back door, played darts on the large porch, BBQ’d and totally enjoyed family time. The kitchen was well equipped, the decor charming and the beds and sitting areas comfy. We would return in a heartbeat and encourage others to do the same. Thank you for a lovely time!!
Great place for family and small kids the house was easy to keep warm, and outdoor area offered exploration and a small hill to sled down.
This is our 2nd time returning to this lovely place! Ms. Shellie is always helpful and supportive on planning our trip. The warm and kindness she showed as host made us feel like we are part of the community! Thank you for the memorable stay every time!
This was the second time visiting this beautiful property. We experienced the middle of winter in heavy snowfall and now returned for a summer holiday. The home is cozy and comfortable no matter the season! Quiet and serene! Shellie was an excellent host and made every effort to accommodate us. We definitely recommend for those wanting a clean, comfortable and quiet place to unplug for awhile. We will be back! James, Connie & Poppy
This is a well appointed, clean and up to date cabin between Hyatt and Howard Prairie Lakes. We had found adults and a 2.5 year old, and found we had plenty of room It's right on the road between the lakes, but there was very little traffic. The lakes are terribly low now due to drought, so there may be more traffic (and more people around) in a normal season. CLose to PCH. Do your food shopping before you come. Nearest facilities in Ashland 40 minutes away, which is rather nice.
Absolutely amazing property. The decor, details and amenities of the cabin are truly 5 stars. The host was so pleasant. Will be back!
We had a great time during our stay. The cabin was clean, everything worked, and it was a great location. We plan to stay there again.
Property is away from everything. The only people we saw were in the few cars that drove by. Be sure to stop at the local store in town to get all of your supplies, or it’s a longish drive back to town. We loved the peace and quiet The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need, spices too!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially loved the location -- at least 10 degrees cooler up here than downtown Ashland, with multiple places to access the Pacific Crest Trail. So peaceful and beautiful.
