We stayed in cabin #1 and enjoyed our stay. The listing was not clear that we had to bring our own sheets, and if I had known that, we would have booked elsewhere. The email sent after booking gave more information that would have been helpful to know before booking: What to bring…. • Cabin 1 need linens for 1 King and 3 Queen sheet sets • Towels are not provided • Chairs – Bring folding or sack chairs to take to the river • Water – Bottled water is recommended • Personal… Body soap, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer. • Misc.…. Charcoal / lighter fluid / lighter We provide 1 roll of paper towels, coffee filters, coffee, 2 rolls toilet paper for each bathroom, dish soap for kitchen sink, soap for dishwasher, trash bags, comforters, pillows, cleaning products, mattress pads & extra blankets. There was one kitchen hand towel, and one bathroom handtowel, but you had to bring an extra hand towel for the second bathroom. The cabin was well stocked with kitchen and cleaning tools/supplies. The owners were very responsive and very attentive. The pool was a welcome addition. It would have been helpful to have a clothes line in the front of the cabin between the pillars to hang wet swim suits, etc. since there is no washer and dryer. A shower station at the pool would be helpful since the it was a saltwater pool. The location is great for Garner State Park (bring your swim gear), and minutes away from the Frio Bat cave, which is highly recommended. The cabin is in a row with several others, so not the most private, and right off the highway, so easy access as well as occasionally loud trucks driving by, which were not noticable at night. The porch rocking chairs were great to view amazing sunsets, and the outdoor picnic table and grills are very nice. The table inside only has seating for four, even though the cabin listing is for sleeping eight, so you have to rotate eating/sitting.

Cabin was nice & updated. The property was nice with the pool & in close proximity to all that Concan & river have to offer. Only 4 stars on cleanliness because it seems some small things were missed on cleanup before our checkin, but nothing big & easily wiped down by us. Owners were very nice & attentive. Overall, great stay & would definitely recommend & use in the future.

We loved our stay at Cabin 1. There was plenty of space for 7 of us. The pool was perfect for relaxing after a day at Garner State Park. The owner was very welcoming and gave us some firewood. We will definitely be back!

Loved it 10/10. The location, the cabin, the hosts, the hospitality CHEFS KISS! When concan pies was closed our host offered to make us a pecan pie! They gave us wood for our fire and heated up the hot tub every night for us. The cabin fit 6 people but could fit 8 people comfortably. Extremely clean, just the best cabin on the frio!

We really enjoyed our visit. The cabin was clean and kitchen well stocked. The new pool was a pleasant surprise. The proximity to Garner and Concan was an added bonus! My only recommendation would be a place to hang wet suits and towels outside. Other than that no complaints.

Clean, quaint, & perfect! Our family really enjoyed the cabin. It was so homie and it was wonderful to be able to sit out on the porch after a long day at the Frio River. Also made smores on the fire pit. Wi-Fi was a plus for our children.

Only 10 minutes from Garner State Park! The owners of the property were very accommodating and helpful. They left us fire wood and charcoal as well as skewers to roast marshmallows! They brought our boys balls to play with and even had corn hole! The views are amazing as well! They had everything we needed plus more! We will definitely be staying here again!
