Back door was wide open when we got there. Fireplace didn’t work. Packages took up half the living room. Thermostat locked out and had to enter a code that we didn’t have. There wasn’t an emergency phone number to call. Was 27 degrees outside. Put blankets and towels on my children so we wouldn’t freeze. Woke up to multiple 8am text reminders to check out by 10am. Would NEVER stay here again. Called to complain about the lack of heat and was hung up on after letting me know she’s charging our card on file for having a dog in a pet friendly cabin. The driveway to cabin is so steep and narrow even with a 4x4 you won’t make it there or out if there’s snow or ice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Huckleberry Ridge. It was very remote and away from all the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge which we really enjoyed. The house was a lot smaller than the pictures show and I wouldn't recommend it for any more than 4 adults. Also, be aware that TN has scorpions (about 3 in size) in the mountains, as we found one in the cabin on our 3rd night there. The property management took care of us during the wildfire that was occurring during our stay. We were evacuated because of the fire and they contacted us to let us know that we needed to get our belongings and leave, they called us a couple days later to make sure that we were able to get our stuff out of they house and issued us a refund for the nights we were not able to stay in the cabin. We continued our vacation sightseeing different areas of TN and staying in hotels, which was fine as well. This was our first time staying in a Vrbo rental and over all we enjoyed it and will do it again in the future. Thank you Jackson Mountain Homes!!

The actual pictures on the Internet made it look alot bigger than it was. Which wasn’t really a problem because it was only four of us. I can’t imagine eight staying in this small area. The cabin was really outdated and needs new furniture. The living room furniture is so uncomfortable the recliner was broke the couch sagged and the green chair that was left was so hard you could hardly sit on it. I spent my time in the king-size bed watching TV. The decorations was nice except for they had their Christmas tree still up and Christmas decorations up at the end of March. What’s up with that! Girls enjoy the Hot tub. I didn’t think the king size bed was too bad but my husband said it made him feel like he’s falling off of it and the girls complain about their bedding. For the price I was very disappointed. The upstairs game room Had better furniture but it wasn’t real comfortable either. I could go on but I’ll quit Complaining.

My husband and I rented this property for our 10 year anniversary. We visit this area every couple of years and this is where we got married. We have never in 11 years experienced a stay like we did at this property. While driving up to this property the driveway was falling apart and had pot wholes all at the bottom with chunks of asphalt covering the driveway it's horrible on a car. Half the lights coming up the driveway were falling over and wasnt working. When we walked into the property the cabin was warm so we cut the AC on and the unit only blew heat out. Even if you cut the unit off it still blew heat out the vents. We had to leave all the windows in the cabin open our whole entire stay to even get the thermostat to read 80 degrees, the last dsy of our stay it never even got below 84 degrees in the cabin. The hot tub didn't work properly, blinds in bedroom was falling from window, scorpions in the bedrooms, screen on back porch door was broken. We called the property management 5 minutes after walking into the door to tell them the issues and asked if they had another cabin available we was told that this didnt effect being able ro stay in a cabin for vacation that they would transfer us anywhere else. We called every day of our stay and they said each time that maintenance was coming out to address the issues. Noone did anything until our last night and when we came back in the cabin from town they had put two shop fans in the living room floor to try and cool the place off instead of fixing the unit. The temp still never got below 84 degrees. Worste experience so far on a vacation to pigeon forge for the price you pay.

Great visit. The cabin does need a little more attention but we greatly enjoyed our time out in the mountains.

We enjoyed our winter get-away. Cabin has everything you need for a small group. We found the exterior in need of some maintenance, but the cabin itself was very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub every night. The kitchen is smaller than it appears in the listing, but it is completely adequate for a small group. The addition of some additional glasses would be of help. We had a maintenance issue that was addressed quickly and professionally. The road up is steep, so keep that in mind for winter visits.

Upon arrival was surprised at the TLC that the cabin needed on the outside. When getting into the cabin found that the toilet was not working. (water shut off to it) When i got ready to shower that night no water would come out of the shower head. Called management the next day and a technician came out pretty quickly and fixed the situation. (stopped up shower head). All of the appliances were very good. We enjoyed the pool table which was a very good table. However the cleaning personnel could have checked the hot tub a little better as there were two bandages in it. It's a little far from everything but that did not bother us as we was just looking for a place to rest and relax. My family have rented cabins 4 times in the past and had super good cabins. So when we rent again it will probably be from one of them.
