I sent my husband for a weekend a relaxing by himself and he absolutely loved the property! He wasn’t able to arrive until 11:30 PM but it was very easy to find and keyless entry was perfect. All the amenities were fantastic, we’ll definitely be back as a family! I realize in remote areas Wi-Fi can be spotty but he had no problems.
I loved the look of the house with all the beautiful wood. Outside was really nice from the front porch to the fire pit.
Just wanted to leave stars
The property was perfect for a relaxing weekend with family and friends! We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit!
We had a wonderful time, the cabin was beautiful, grandkids loved the loft, plenty of room for everyone.
We loved our time at Bear Run. Perfectly situated to be a short drive for all of the sites but secluded in it's location.
This was the perfect location for our quick getaway! Super close to everything, plenty of kitchen essentials, comfy beds and the best front porch. Kroger is close by and don't forget to stop at the Daniel Boone Coffee Shop!
Perfect cabin location. Close to everything we wanted to visit.
We stayed at Bear Run while introducing our kids and grandkids to Red River Gorge and the Natural Bridge. The cabin was great. It is located about halfway between The Natural Bridge State Park and the Nada Tunnel (just minutes away from each!). We explored in the morning, came back to the cabin to eat and rest, then explored more in the afternoon. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well enough that it was easy to put together family meals. We spent many relaxing hours in the rocking chairs on the front porch. Bear Run was a great place to just kick back and relax! Check in was easy and communication was excellent. We even received a text warning us that a storm was approaching. We had front row seats, safely rocking away on the front porch, as we watched Mother Nature's fury! We definitely hope to return the Bear Run in the future!
Loved our location and cabin. Inside of cabin very clean. Outside needed some overgrowth cleaned up. A few of chairs were broken, Not managements fault though. Very happy with our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Run as a great location for exploring the Red River Gorge area. We hiked and did a kayak tour during the day, and relaxed in the hot tub and counted bears at night. As parents of a three year old, we were worried about the stairs and loft being very open, but it was easily fixed by large baby gates we brought with us. Other reviews mentioned road noise, which was noticeable, but not bothersome with the leaves in. The cabin itself was stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. Overall we had a great stay and would consider returning when we visit the area again.
We planned a weekend getaway so our group of friends could get together, reconnect, and hike the beautiful Red River Gorge. Bear Run cabin was the most perfect place, and we absolutely loved everything about it. Bear Run is privately tucked in the woods, yet, it's close to many amenities and the Gorge. The front porch was spacious and the string lights provided the most perfect atmosphere. The fire pit and the hot tub are easily accessible and made great places to unwind and reconnect! What a great stay we had here at Bear Run, we look forward to coming back!
It was my spouses first time visiting the Gorge and the stay at the cabin was perfect! It was close to everything, while still feeling like you were super secluded. The cabin was cozy and quite.
My friends and I rang in the New Year here and it was excellent. The big table downstairs and the small one in the loft made it possible to split up into groups for board games, the hot tub was amazing, and overall the stay was very good. Would stay here again!
This is the perfect cabin in the RRG are so cozy and has the best porch!
Nice place perfect for a quick getaway at the red. Has everything we needed.
Really nice and clean place! Easy communication and check-in and out process. We loved the stay
Super friendly people to deal with, beautiful cabin. Will stay here again.
Great location and cabin. Quiet area
We enjoyed our stay at a Bear Run! The cabin was in good condition and very accommodating. Kitchen basics were there and we enjoyed the fire pit outside and the big front porch! The location is quiet, but not real far from basic supplies.
Would definitely stay here again. Everything about the cabin was amazing
Great house and management company. They need too make it very plain in advertising that this house sits on a VERY steep hill with a rough road going up. Motorcyclists should look elsewhere.
We have a nice time during our stay. The kids loved the area.
We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the bears!
Bear run is a Great cabin which made us feel like at home with everything we needed. The location of it is perfect since it is close to major scenic spots. Our children had a great time relaxing in the hot tub. We will definitely go back.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Check in and check out were quick and easy. Everything was clean and tidy. It was aggravating that the starter kit wasn’t really enough for a whole house of people toilet paper wise. The bathroom under the stairs was also very finicky our entire stay but the overall atmosphere and everything was amazing!
Beautiful cabin, perfect location for wandering the Gorge! Lots of space to stretch out and relax-- we'd definitely stay here again.
Bear Run’s location was perfect for the activities we had planned. The check in and exit process was very simple. We will definitely recommend Bear Run to others visiting Red River Gorge. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.
