This is the best cabin we have ever stayed in. Relaxing on the porch watching bears wonder around, climbing trees and coming on the porch to enjoy our laughter. This place is absolutely amazing !

Encountered some bears right in the driveway, grandkids got a little excited over that! Easy to get to. Management company extremely friendly and helpful, very responsive to a couple of minor issues we had.

Our entire family from grandparents to grandchildren enjoyed staying here. The property is conveniently located and boasts a spectacular view of the Smoky Mountains. The property is well maintained and in great condition overall. It is large and roomy and has up to date appliances and fixtures making it a very comfortable home away from home. And, as always, the Mountain Laurel team was a pleasure to work with. We would recommend this property and Mountain Laurel Chalets to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the Smokies!

Reviewer Comments: Someone that stayed before us must not have open the fireplace flue after building a fire on the bottom floor. The whole unit smelled like smoke. After opening doors and windows for hours, it got better but the smoke smell downstairs would go away. If it weren’t for that this would be a 5 star review because I really liked the chalet. This isn’t the owners fault. I would book it again.
